New Gameplay of Gears of War 2!!!

Two words: Holy crap.

They really are turning everything up to 100 with this one, man does it look good. That was the first video that stopped looking like Gears and really started looking like Gears 2. The thing that surprised me the most was the audio - everything sounded spectacular!

From those videos it looks exactly like the original Gears of War, I see they still kept the corny lines from the first one....

Anyways I'm more interested in seeing how the multiplayer portion of the game looks to improve over the original like most of us are.

I really enjoyed aspects of the first one, but there were just too many bugs and other issues for me to really enjoy it. I think Gears was the shell of an incredible game, and I think Gears 2 has the potential to fill that shell. Why not be excited?

GEARS1 was revolutionary for its time. GEARS2 isn't revolutionary. And MGS4 can be played as a hardcore FPS, an hardcore action game or hardcore stealth game.. MGS4 is revolutionary.

Well yea I know, just doesn't seem like the single player will be worth playing like the first one....and I'm glad to hear all the improvements are being made to the online portion because that's all people really cared for in the first Gears....

GEARS 2 can have over 100 enemies onscreen at once with at 60fps and all enemies with full AI. best game of all time confirmed

Looks pretty sweet, but I worry that the dialogue and storyline will get cheesy... even though it's supposed to be funny, the way Dom says "Yeah run away, it wont help - I'll just shoot you in your ..." just seems lame considering they are in a huge war against scary locusts...

Does anyone else think they've made Marcus a little more of a baby face for this game??? A little less ugly? lol. Anyway - I cant wait.

lol Nah I didnt focus to hard on their faces!!! :lol: And I am a guy... but I noticed it in the video from E3 where Marcus says, "If they can ride 'em, so can we" to Dom and the camera is close up on his face. In the first one he looked super ugly with a square face, round nose with wrinkles and scars... in this one he still has the scars, but his face seems longer and his chin more chisled. (Spell check on chisled... I'm not sure I've ever had to spell it... lol)

Anyway, just a funny observation, lol.
