Lighting and shadows are well done. As said before... Huge leap from Gears of War 2.

Weird because the game retains the faster movement speed of Gears 1...

Gears 2 is MUCH SLOWER than what you are seeing in these vids.

Underground caves in Gears 2. Detail in the MP maps are toned down.

Graphics look great. Unsurprisingly. Surprisingly there was quite a bit of color used though.

Looks good. Not big fan of off-screen/cam 360p youtube vids, but it at least shows some color off.

Some screens from the same levels, but not the same footage. It will at least give a better idea of what it looks like than a low-res cam vid.

looking very very nice, definately around the Uncharted 2 level of visuals, just gorgeous. And cows said the 360 couldnt get that level of graphics. :)

It looks pretty good, very smooth, nice lighting and look at that speed--I'm still not liking the map designs yet though; I don't think they will ever top the maps in the first GEOW; Gridlock(original) alone was better then every single GEOW 2 map(Day One was nice though) IMO but we'll see... I hope they will at least consider bringing them back untouched this time around. = )

Okay so these graphics look sick and that was just MP. Not to mention the gameplay and battefield looked intense! Really curious to see what SP footage looks like! The hype meter just went up more for me. Also the cherry on top here is....

Well, I don't see how that's a crazy statement. In Uncharted 2, players have more control over their characters when traversing levels, including platforming. The free-form camera opens things up considerably as well. Gears is def. "stiffer", but that doesn't mean it's not fun. It works for Gears, and I love it.

Uncharted has more finnesse and control freedom, and Gears is more raw and brutal, which I absolutely love.

At first I figured that the Retro Lancer had an insane amount of recoil, making it near impossible to use. But, it's possible that the guy just wasn't used to playing the game yet.

Either way, the animations are awesome. And using cover seems super smooth and fun.
