No offense to Tom McShea but his inFamous 2 review was kinda crap. No, the game didn't deserve a 10. But his complaints were stupid. "Laughable morality system"... uhh, Tom, it's the same system as the first. You know, that game you gave a 9/10?

Looks great. Definitely picking it up Day 1.

Exactly,after giving the first one a 9,they could'nt bring themselves to give the second one a higher score even though it was a better game.:?

Also,both games have the same fade to black health system that Mcshea hated so much in the second review.

That made me laugh. I remember watching that review when it first released and said, "Ummm, that's in the original game too yet you never complained."

Honestly though, after replaying both, I don't think the original inFamous game deserves a 9/10. It's more of a respectable 8/10. Great game and one of my personal favorite series this generation but the combat isn't great, power-ups are limited (compared to the sequel), enemy AI is unbalanced (almost ate my controller on hard mode), graphics aren't great (before Sucker Punch used motion capture technology for their games, etc.

The sequel, in my opinion, fixed everything wrong with the original game. Only regret is that they removed regaining health and power by grinding on power lines and rail road tracks. That was great for a quick getaway.

As much as I didn't agree with the review, I did find that infamous was better than infamous 2. Both are amazing games though

I never played inFAMOUS 1 and 2 from start to finish, just a few minutes here and there, but i iked the gameplay!

They were both 8s in my book. I also had to lol at him complaining over a game feature that he completely neglect to mention in the review to the first game.

Infamous 1 was a steaming pile of excrement. Such a disappointing game, but I'm glad they fixed most of my complaints in the sequel.

Except for better graphics, they created new complaints for me.

The game was just too easy, it offered next to no challenge at the hardest difficulty. 

The boss fights all sucked, without exception. Infamous amazing boss fights.

The story was not really interesting. Just the twist they had in the first one was better than the entire story of the second one.

The missions were soso. Just the mission were you have to take down the blimps in infamous one was more epic than any of the missions infamous 2 had.

Obviously it's my opinion, those are not facts, so it's debatable. I still did enjoy infamous 2 and I even refinished infamous after finishing infamous 2 to compare them. 

Hyping sub-AE to play it safe if Mcshea's reviewing it (which he probably is).

Infamous 2 had a pretty bad story for the most part, but the combat was definitley better than 1.
