*New* killzone 2 Gameplay 7/12/07

lol Not impressed. Honestly after watching that my anticipation for this game went down from E3

graphics look good though...

It doesn't look fun to play however and in all honestly looks just like killzone 1 gameplay with shiney graphics

call of duty 4 is going to pwn this thing :lol:

parts of that trailer dont look very good at all in terms of graphics, infact lol at the explosions,laughable quailty,and gameplay? um he walked around and shot a few guys, then pressed a buttonrepeatedly and shot at a telegraph pole,woah alert the internet.jt8b2z

I just watched again for the third time... the most impressive thing is the sound. Its crazy and really well done and this is one area that we know PS3 is superior in, but other then that it consisted of running around, the enemies didnt even seem to be reacting to him at all...dumb AI? And it seemed sorta generic in the sense that all he did was run and shoot... and then shot a tower. Who fires at a tower like that use a flipping bomb like a normal commando.

Gears just seems alot more deep... enemies coming out of holes which you fill, extreme emphasis on cover.... stand up without it on hardcore and your dead like in real life...plus it didnt have chainsaws.

The fact is that the gameplay is very similar to the trailer. That's why Sony and Guerilla have been getting so much positive feedback. Look around you. Not one gaming site has reported the game looking bad.

Killzone has plenty of development time to spruce up the AI, textures, framerate etc before it's launch NEXT YEAR. And you're nitpicking on a game not even in the alpha stages.

Wasn't graphics the whole point? The game looking at it is now was something no one really expected, even me. I hate to say this but this creams Halo 3 in the graphical department already in the pre alpha stages.

Why are you worrying about gameplay so early? No need to worry, Guerilla have plenty of time. ;)
