Models're some of the best I've seen, but the textures could use a bit of work.

Let's hope they get that ironed out :)

yup i think its a good thing it got delayed, they are taking their time and not rushing it like they did KZ1.

Gameplay wise the hype this game is getting bugs me. Graphically it looks immense though.

i know but this was my most anticipated (well one of) game of 2008, and now im not gonna get to play it for almost another year, im really really getting sick of waiting

Looks pretty good, i'd prefer to see a direct feed of the gameplay and not off screen like it is.

I need more reasons to purchase a PS3, this could be one of them.

Looks good actually no were near e3 05 good but still it's quite impressive.

And anyone who thinks this game isdestroys gears of war 2 graphically needs to have there eyes checked.

killzone 1 wasn't THAT bad, it was okay, not great, not horrible

killzone for psp was... AWESOME. i love the high difficulty level it was... made it frustrating but at the same time very satisifying to finish. its one of the few games that actually challenged me on psp.

killzone 2 will blow killzone 1, halo3, gears of war 1, and possibly 2 out of the waters why?

1. it has alot more resources/human power to make the game, jus look at the character models and gun models, its EXCELLENT, very fluid and realisitic looking

2. textures can use some work but which game out there has so much explosions going on, things on screen, and such good looking smoke/fires... not many.

Graphics great, but i still think the gameplay will bomb like the first Killzone. I still don't understand why sony bothered continuing a game that flopped the first time around. You want a series that is consistently AA+... It's as if they are pumping money into a dead horse....theonlyGAMESTER

I hate to repeat info like this, seeing as this should be established already, but...

KZ1 was a flop because of technical glitches and bugs. Imagine if all of those had been ironed out, with a smoother framerate and consistant AI. That's the real grit of that situation. Design wise, it (would have) worked.

I agree with alot of lemming on the gameplay part whats so special about it ?

The over used blur effects or the "life like" movements while in First person ? If anything it looks to confuse alot of people.

I am liking to graphics....not liking some AI but they probably have alot of work left for the AI though. Other then that it seems solid nothing more, nothing less.

Off topic ish: I want a fresh/diffrent shooter. Hopefully OFP2 or ARMA2 will just take the classic OPF formula and modernize the gameplay and AI (not just graphics!! arma!!) if this magic game is ever made it will trump all other shooters with its Advancenedice( :P ) and I am not joking the only problem with OFP was that they made it so early on and probably bit off more then they could chew.

I wish I had ur confidence in games I can not say that about any game that hasn't come out yet. Except for HL2:ep3 but that doesn't really count considering its an expansion.

Yea I saw that too where the soldiers come to check on the other soldier.. that was cool. Also, they mentioned that they are going to show you where the soldier bark order at you during the battle and hand you the rocket launcer from that e3 05 trailer... but in real time. Btw, this is only part 1 from the 15 minutes demo.

I hope I dont gross anyone out but I practically got a hard on just watching that vid...

The only thing that needs to be updated is the a.i because they like never shot at you or hit you all that much...I do know that will most likely be fixed in the real game though. I seriously cant believe haters are still brushing this off as "nothing" First it was like, oh its "cgi" and its not going to happen. It happens now and they are like pfft...I can understand very clearly if you do not like this game but seriously...stop lying to yourself lol. If anything it does make you say wow; then after that, you MIGHT be like meh, killzone is lame. I personally wasnt a HUGE killzone fan but the more I see for this one, the more I cant believe my eyes.

I think "generic shooter" sums it up nicely.

Disclosure: I hate FPS.
