i hope this games plays less like SWKotOR1/2 and more like oblivion. the games looks great from all angles but when every i play kotor i alwys want more action and always seemed like a bad attempt to mix RPG and action but either way considering it's bioware it'll still be a good game

Well KOTOR was really a turn-based game deep down. From the preview that was posted the combat looks to be more action and can give easy squad orders
The Character Creator look nice, the backgrounds look cool.

You trade depth for a mediocre hack 'n' slash combat system? It'll play like GRAW.
omfg that looked amazing. the character models looked amazing and i liked how it shows the improvements to e306 trailer. the combat looked really fun aswell and some of the levels were gorgeous like that outdoor facility with the birds and gun towers and the ships engine.
One thing that did worry me about the video was RIGHT near the end. The guy sitting with the two girls says he was told the main story line is 10 to 20 hours and longer with side quests. I wouldn't mind a 20 hour main line, but 10 hour one is definitely a bit lacking. If it's 10 hours I can see that hurting it.

I don't mind being 10-20 hours, seeing as it's a trilogy is a little undestandable, but for KOTOR I didn't play the first one, played the second, and I thought it ended rather shortly. didn't like how it ended.

kotor is around high 30 (almost 40) so im sure it wont be 10... if anything i think it will be longer then 20 and if u really wanna explore everything even longer...

The guy who said 10-20 hours is not a Bioware employee, He's from EGM, So far devs have said the main story is around 20 hours, not 10-20.
Main story is around 20 hours, can add another 20 hours or so w/ all the side quests. At E3 they said that no one had yet to visit every location during testing. And then you add in that there are multiple endings, different classes, party structure and gender specific plot lines, the replay factor is high

Lol I never got the chance to finish it. I was just getting on the planet with the Academy and at that time I had about 30-35 hours in the game. I got my 360 in Dec 05 and never picked up KOTOR again... :shock:
I don't really care how long it is. 8 hours, or 80 hours -- it's going to be a fantastic experience either way. Those looking for value will be satisfied with the heavy focus on replay value.
I was quite impressed with the real-time team commands. It looks intuitive, efficient, and it matches the circular design of the dialog interface.
