You have probably missed MANY jaw dropping pics before those crap ones, the graphics definatly IS a main factor in this game, in fact there is no other next gen RPG to look even remotly as good, bar Fable 2 and maybe Lost Odyssey

Those are certainly no where near the best Mass Effect screens that I have seen. Those are mediocre at best, and looks as if they are on the Xbox 1. Not very good examples at all. The game will look killer though. Cannot wait to get it, myself.

We've already seen gameplay videos, so we know what it looks like.  A couple of bad screens shouldn't worry anybody.

Mass Effect is the single most stunning next gen RPG for now, those 2 are just bad pics, nothing more, others are jaw droppin, like the one above

There is nothign on 1UP site, and the game has not been downgraded, bad pics had been posted before, of course if you take a pic of the most lame place of the game, will look bad, like say take a pic of an Oblivion cave dungeon, would you ever think that game looked amazing ?

The lighting in this one is stunning, as textures are, just wait for the full game to judge, remember Gears and how bad it looked befor release, right ?
