From the looks of the trailer it already has. You would be better off saving your $10 or spending it on Max Payne through Steam to get the better experience.

I don't remember the game well, but weren't there some demons or hell kinda things in the campaign? I'm not sure what they were exactly because i don't remember, but i think they could be his personal demons. Or i could just be thinking of a different game...
I am a huge fan of max payne and i was so worried i kept saying to myself "they're going to butcher the series" but in fact i was suprised and happy to see it actually looked like the game in many aspects.
It looks good, the action scenes look sweet, the whole theme of the movie seems to be dark like the game. I seriously hope the demon thing was just cuz Max was high and not some supernatural thing they added to make it more "interesting".
It seems more comic bookey (as in Sin City-ish) than I recall the game being. But I guess a more stylistic approach might be more suitable for portraying the more corny aspects of the games.

I know what portion of the game your talking about, but there were no supernatural monsters. There was a potion where there was a bunch of freaks performing a ritual with those crazy demon designs on the floor.
Well for the first time ever a video game movie that looks like it might be good,im not gonna pay to see it though.But i think those angel/demon things might have been max payne trippin out on drugs in stuff.

Looks cool to me. Before the clip started, I saw that the star was Mark Wahlburg and was bummed. After watching the trailer, he looks like he may pull it off. The voice sounded good. Not too impressed with the bullet-time jumping scenes though. And whats with that angel dude in the end of the trailer? I only played MP1. Did the 2nd one have some angel in it? I guess it could've been a dream sequence.

I don't really know why people are blabbering on about Wahlberg, The horrifically bad acting in The Happening is probably the fault of Shymablablan. I'd be more concerned about other casting choices.

No, just no. Or should I say "Oh no!"? Wahlberg provides some of the most poorly delivered lines I've ever heard.
