No, no, no, just... no. How many more Metal Gear games do we need? 4 was such a perfect send off, why does Kojima want to tarnish the series' legacy by releasing, quite literally, a game per year?charizard1605
It;s been 2 years since 4... I don't get it? BTW I don't want any new MGS games, but I still don't think they're milking it which your post inclines.
In before "this is the last ever Metal Gear game...I mean it *this* time"-Feath-I agree with both of you. Being a massive MG fan, it needs to.... end. Yeh, that does sound odd doesnt it? Good things come to an end some day...

We had Peace Walker recently, and we have Rising coming up. And it's MGS, it's a narrative based story, it'snot even like Mario or Zelda... when the story's been conclusively concluded, then why doesn't Kojima just let it die? I mean, are we gonna see a Metal Gear Solid Wars next? Metal Gear Solid Kart? Stop milking the series already. It's regarded with fond nostalgia, but Kojima keeps this up, and people will grow jaded of it all pretty soon.[QUOTE="charizard1605"]No, no, no, just... no. Oh, you edited your post :P I'm not saying their milking it NOW. I'm saying this is the beginning of said milkage. Remember when Halo 3 ended? MS promised it'd be the end. Fair enough. Then we get Halo Wars, which is an interesting game, an experimental game, so it can't be termed as milking. Right. But then, we got Halo 3 ODST, and we have Reach coming up, with more Halo content planned. I'm saying MGS might fall into the same trap.[QUOTE="bigblunt537"][QUOTE="charizard1605"]No, no, no, just... no. its obvious that they want to make money by doing that to the series, by having it multiplat too it will appear to a wider audience A.K.A it will be casualfied[QUOTE="bigblunt537"][QUOTE="charizard1605"]No, no, no, just... no. I hope MGS4 was the last true MGS. Even 4 disappointed the heck out of me.

Before MGS4's release, Kojima said that Metal Gear Solid would always be around.

Steal? Steal what? :?you seak Japanese(or chinese)?sorry dont know the difference no offense
It's Japanese, and no I don't :P I tried learning it once, couldn't get my head around it, so I ditched it. For now, Google Translate is my friend. :D[QUOTE="charizard1605"]No, no, no, just... no. Immediately following MGS4's release, he said it was the last. Incidentally, he also said that before 3. But if you see MGS4's GS review, you can see it's been written as a review for the conclusion of a story. Clearly, 4 was meant to be the last game in the series, before the uber milkage began. So sorry silverbond, but this time, you really are wrong :PNothing but vids of cutting implements. What could it mean?........nervmeisterMetal Gear Rising, or a new Metal Gear game altogether.

It is. Anyway, I used Bing this time, and it translated the second character which is 'steal' but not the first. So I have no idea what this is even supposed to mean :?Oh..my..god... Kojimas plan all along was to work with Microsoft to build a real metal gear. He, along with Microsoft, plan to announce metal gear to the world at E3 where they will proceed to take the world hostage and bring an end to society as we know it....Indie_Hitman
Dude, wrong game. That is Halo. Halo will rule the world one day.
[QUOTE="nervmeister"]Nothing but vids of cutting implements. What could it mean?........charizard1605Metal Gear Rising, or a new Metal Gear game altogether.Occasionally, one of the TV screens reveals part of what looks like some kind of Japanese calligraphy. The whole picture must be behind all of the screens.
@OneLazyAsian Although it might be for the 3DS, in which case, we'd all whoop with joy :D

I don't think Kojima as ever made a game for the DS handheld but, yes, that would be worth celebration. Round of drinks on me if that happens.

There was one on the GBC though... So, will the drinks be funded through PayPal? :P[QUOTE="OneLazyAsian"][QUOTE="charizard1605"]

You better :evil: It's a deal then :P Man, this E3 promises to be something special...I'm starting to see a patern:
1. An MGS is announced;
2. People in SW rage and say things like "oh teh milkage! woe be me!". This can get especially bad for PSP games;
3. The game will score extremely well in GS and receive praise from all over the world, and sell like water in a desert;
4. People will deny ever having participating in step 2;

Not me, I'm a vocal and outspoken dissenter :PI would love a remake of the orginal Metal gear games. If its not that im pretty sure it it want be solid snake. Mainly cause his story is over and isint peace walker big bosses last story.
You "starting" seeing this patern lol................ Welcome to System Wars, where gamers dont know what they want :DI'm starting to see a patern:

If they remake MGS 1-3 for the PS3 and bundle it with 4 then it will be a pre-order and it will be day 1 buy for me.EXLINK
thatsd be like what +$100?
metal gear rising is my guess. It seems that way only because everyone is translating that japanese character on the page which says "steal"... most likely referring to Raiden's samaurai sword.
From that teaser, I can conclude it will have something to do with cuttin' random $#!t up. Rising info or some MGS on the Wii pl0x
