I don't want to compare so I'll sit on the fence :P, so I predict they will look the same with only slight differences. But what I really don't understand is why it's called Metal Gear Solid: Rising - when Solid snake isn't involved. Or will it be like MGS2 promising Snake and delivering Raiden.

the name metal gear solid has nothing to do with solid snake considering he was in metal gear 1 and metal gear 2. i read this in a magazine but i'll quote it from wikipedia: "Kojima retitled the game Metal Gear Solid, choosing this over the working title Metal Gear 3. This was due to the fact that he believed that the first two MSX2 games in the series were not very well known.[42] He used the word 'Solid' which was chosen due to the game being the third installment in the series, and because it uses 3D computer graphics.[43] Sequels to this game also use the Metal Gear Solid title, and follow a new numeral progression." in the magazine i read it from, kojima said he included solid because the series was turning 3d with 'solid' objects and graphics.
We havent seen anything in terms of gameplay so we cannot really compare both.If its Kojima he will try to make them both look as good as possible and as equal as possible.
Well its on PC and on 360.Pc version will look better than both versions.And 360 fanboys will just come with owoned thread stating 360 MGS looks far better than ps3 by showing some PC visuals.
First of all ... its not MGS anymore .... it's 'Metal Gear' Second of all ... with out kojima the game wont compare to a game like mgs4 so stop getting your hopes right.
Im not sure if I'll even buy this game, a non tactical espionage MGS isnt kind of an insult to the series? and pure milkage, Hideo Kojima himself said that the true sequel he is truly involved with was Peace Walker
Something About MGSR feels horribly wrong, the way Kojima expressed about it was almost sad and whateverish, do you people remember when the first MGS4 trailer was shown? Everyone knew it was going to be Epic from that moment, this game has an awful aura all over it

It will most likly look better on PS3. Its a whole new engine, i would imagine it will utilize each systems hardware. We all know if this is the case who has the most powerfull hardware. Thats just my guess.
Now that I think about since the people from MGS4 arent working on it and the new young people are the ones making it, that means they wont know how to develope games using the CELL so that means they'll probably **** up the PS3 version. Kind of makes a little bit of logic, right?
