Yeah. I wouldn't buy a Wii for it, but I too am a small fan of the series. at least, I own/played MH Freedom (never beat it, because for some reason, i just can't get into portable gaming for great lengths like that) and liked it. Particularly for the HUGE weapons, and cool strategies involved.
I'd love to play it on a next-gen console. it just pi.. "ticks" me off that I won't be able to do that for a minimum of 4 years (unless they already have it in development...)

Yeah I doubt it would take them four years to develop, I don't think they are going to go over the top with the wii mote in this game, people would become to tired from playing with all the repetition in the mechanics.
I don't give about motion controls, they could stay out I wouldn't care in the end though.
Realistic Dragons in MH? I don't think anyone would want them to trash the artisitic approach they've developed for the series and graphics never matter, thats just a cop out by most gamers.

Jurassic Park made Dinosaurs look pretty realistic. And I've never seen one of those. But at any rate.. I have better things to argue about.

Of course it is a console. But it is a console in the same sence that a penguin is a bird. It's totaly off the beaten path. Some see that as a good thing. I personally see it as "not in my interests".
So, whilst I am "growing up and getting over it", You may want to consider doing the same.
Lets just put it this way, I strongly dislike the direction nintendo went with the wii, and could not be any less interested in the wii its self. To each his own though.

All I'm saying is that graphics isn't everything. A good game is a good game and if graphics is what keeps you away (especially if you're a fan of the series), then you're just letting a petty reason get in the way of enjoying that series.

if it is not in your interest... then why did you come into a topic... that is about a game... only on that system... just to bad mouth it? you must be pretty damn interested in the wii to go through all that.
I mean if you were not interested in the wii at all your reply to this topic would have been. (man I wish monster hunger tri was coming to (blank system)) and that would have been all. instead you had to bad mouth the wii till your were blue in the face... so you must be really interested to know so much about how bad the wii is. do you have pictures of the wii under your pillow you stare at during the wii hours of the evening. see what I did there... wii hours hahaha I kill me!
