Here guys. I'm sorry but this first map makes everything feel painfully reminiscent of CoD4 MW1, in fact I almost puked from these vids. Gameplay same sh12. Graphics same old. & everything feels inappropriately dated within every previous Call o D (no offense CoD fans). LFD 2? Lol... I am probably going to get this game, only because it's going to be the only game I get to play with online with my mates, if all my mates (or most of them atleast) werent gonna get this game i'd give it a miss..

Its a sequel, did you really expect the maps to be ridiculously and radically different? There are enough differences to warrent a purchase, especially if you dont have Modern Warfare 1.

Besides, CoD is a familiar franchise. Its like Street Fighter. People will keep on coming back to the multiplayer because they are used to it and comfortable with it, and the core gameplay is absolutely sound.

Besides, anyone that buys a lot of shooters and enjoys CoD will probably pick up some of the other titles to play on and offline. Just because you enjoy Call of Duty doesnt mean you cannot possibly buy another online shooter. Hell, get both, and you will have the best of both :)

LFD 2? Lol... I am probably going to get this game, only because it's going to be the only game I get to play with online with my mates, if all my mates (or most of them atleast) werent gonna get this game i'd give it a miss..ThatsSimtastic

I was also planning on getting Modern Warfare 2 for my mates & I to play but after watching these explicitly detailing online gameplay bits I figured otherwise personally. Please pardon my E-tounge i'm just really tired.

Well, it def. looks great visually IMO. As far as presentation and aesthetics go. I'm just concerned about the balancing...because on paper, the new additions sound bad. I'm still not interested enough to play, I'll be watching my bro.

WOW, just WOW so many new weapons confirmed, you can even use 2 smgs at the same time. TC i cant cant see what you are talking about, the game looks fine, those maps did not remind me cod4, they are new maps allright, but then again i dont think it would hurt if the include the old maps in CTF gameplay.

Besides, anyone that buys a lot of shooters and enjoys CoD will probably pick up some of the other titles to play on and offline. Just because you enjoy Call of Duty doesnt mean you cannot possibly buy another online shooter. Hell, get both, and you will have the best of both :)

Sure you make perfect points. However I am personally done with the franchise. Games like Halo & Resistance took much more substantial leaps in the gameplay department online compared to the low-brow toxic inducing gameplay I just witnessed. Good luck to those still up on the franchise & I look forward to your feedback on my friend's list once it comes out. In regards to your post, i'm just the type who finds no pleasure in a low-brow toxic inducing formula make a repeat of itself in a sequel which has been expected to be a million times better. It just doesn't work for me. I'm actually repurchasing Killzone 2 & looking forward to a new online game to add to my 360 once I get it. Obvious which 1 or 2? lol

I thought that was really cool how the predator missile works and how you can call it on someone specifically, instead of a lame bombing run.

Oh really? What happened to all the climactic sequences composed in MW2's teaser trailers? Just think about it. Do you really want to have snowmobile sequential only to the single player campaign? So many rad solo moments that should've been added online aren't there. Gimme a break, no guts no glory, no risk no reward is what the developers & this online game play reeks. Fail.

What? mw2 has manage to improve mp greatly with so many new stuff, i guess with that logic you gonna steer away from l4d2 because it aint an improved sequel that looks a million times better? Another thing, halo, halo 2 and halo 3 are not that "diffirent" and advanced the one for each other to have "substantial leaps in the gameplay department" Once i again i dont catch your rant, you just dont like MW.

So its a CALL OF DUTY and not something else Like far cry 2 being completly diffirent from the first, or like RE5 being something diffirent from the previous resident evil Survival horror games, i guess you know what i mean. When i buy call of duty i know its call of duty and i wont have to worry about tanks in mp like i am playing battlefield, the game focuses on weapons and not vehicles.

Another point I must add guys, Activision teases way to much crap. Remeber the online game play vid with this dude backing up a guy in his team all way through & they come up successful from it? I've never experienced even a second of a moment as epic as this in a CoD online game. I have in Halo 3, & Resistance. My point is this game sucks. There I said it. MW2 is the most over hyped... most over appreciated piece of crap online game i've ever seen. imo. lol terrible online game lol. Stop appreciating decade old assets in FPS shooters & look for developers looking to take a stand in their franchises & show pride in their work via the game itself, not the money awaiting their deposit boxes on 10/10/09. That's actually not true. More recently WaW gave you the ability to yield tanks which was what I thought a great improvement/start for the game. This just utterly fails for me. 1/10 guaranteed

Right but halo 3 Mp is something new, so halo 3 multiplayer is not an "overapreciatted piece of crap" Ahhh ok, with that logic we should also stop playing counter strike no matter how much fun it is

Thats fair enough. A lot of people clamour for change within a franchise, but I personally like to know where I am with a game. Familiarity really helps, which is why I like games like SFIV, Mario platformers, Zelda, ect. I would not want those franchises turning into something they are not (though it did kind of work for Resi :P ) There is nothing wrong with low brow entertainment, and to be honest, it smacks of the kind of elitism I really dont like. If people like stuff then they like it, and it doesnt do to look down on them for their personal choices. Its really rich for video game enthusiasts to talk of the low brow casual stuff like its dirty, when its been the lowest of the low in a broader spectrum of media and entertainment for a long time now.
