Midnight Club : LA in September...who needs NFS? Plus...Undercover-Underground? EA can't even be creative with names, let alone games.

Yup. I am waiting on Midnight Club myself, and kinda looking forward to MotorStorm 2 now.
they should have St.vincent drinving in it. That island has some of world creazy drivers. It makes fast and the ferious look bad.
I had hought the auto bond was bad lol
Well, at least it isn't an annual series anymore. Just throw in ruthless police A.I like Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit and I'd be happy.Technoweirdo
Agreed! That's what we need man. Need for Speed never needed all that other stuff added it was a winner to begin with until they changed everything.:|

Good taste all around. One of my favorite books of all time. One of the few I continue to read over and over. (The sig)

I love the Hitchhiker's Guide.
Outside those, I am borrowing my friends Forza 2, and that does it for me for racing. I don't usually like sims, but I am going to give it a try since borrowing doesn't cost me anything should I not like it.
...Because we ALL need another NFS game.
Seriously, the whole series has been in a tailspin since Hot Pursuit 2 (still the best)
Hey come on guys it can turn out good.......... who i'm kidding it will be a rehashEPaul
People have lost hope it seems
High Stakes/Road Challenge was by far my favourite NFS. Underground and Most Wanted was excellent.
Underground 2, Carbon and prostreet sucked...

NFS3 = Amazing for its time, great car list, fantastic tracks
NFS4 = Not as great, more of a rehash
NFS Porshce 2000 = Wow amazing, the graphics were awe inspiring, the tracks were gorgeous and the car list while limitted to one brand felt just right
NFSU = Not a bad game at all, but repetetive, but hey, first stab, cant blame them
NFSU2 = A poor rehash now with the added frustration of a poorly networked open city, the game just takes too long to get good
Most Wanted = A nice re invention, still similar gameplay, but i think out of the modern ones, probably the best
Carbon = Didnt know what to make of it really, but the boring graphics, less focus on the police and tried to death gameplay just made it feel unspiring
Pro Street = LOL:lol:

Couldn't agree more with you on Porsche. Reviews were extremely negative. But I loved that game. I still can't believe why the game was criticised so extremely harsh. Thats probably why I didn't include it in my list, shame :P
Yeah Porsche is truely a gem so many looked over. It had a great Career mode that took you through some amazing locales as well as a License mode (or whatever) that helped you learn the intricacies of the fantastic racing model, at the time, easily the most realistic racing game out then, its amazing to see how its aged so well. Heck even racing with the oldest of the old-skool cars was great fun. Even to this day, i am yet to see a track list so alive and vibrant.Couldn't agree more with you on Porsche. PullTheTricker
It pains me that it went so unnoticed:cry:

Yeh nowadays its all about the mass marketing. And I don't blame them from a business standpoint, it makes perfect sense.
I think they need to really end this series, the last series that I found to be the most enjoyable was Need for Speed 3 Hot Pursuit, after that I haven't really enjoyed them. Who knows maybe they will surprise me.xscrapzx
Me too, I really enjoyed Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 on my PS2, I couldn't stop playing that game. What they need is to go back to that style of racing and bring back the cop chasing, it made the series enjoyable.
