I'm starting to wonder if the actual game will have the same DoF effects, because that's really the main thing that's making these screens look so good.
Rockstar doesn't do bullshots. They're most likely console screens, look at them at full size. The overall IQ isn't that great. The graphics are mighty impressive for consoles though. :D
holy crap. The other recent screenshots were good but didn't blow me away but these have hyped me. That plane pic and the last pic are insane looking. Definitely a huge leap ahead of GTA IV.
Seriously. That last shot is like straight froma movie. I have never seen cops in choppers behave like that in GTA before, they normally stay up high and blast you
The different ways they're implementing the number of things we are allowed to do is just stupid good. The first picture alone dictates how GTA 5 completely differentiates itself from GTA 4, its my favorite picture. Plus how the helicopters manuever in for the kill, seems to have increased the challenge a ton more now. This is looking leagues a head of GTA 4.
If you look on GTA V's main page , you will find that there are no more blank spaces, which leads me to believe that they are going to release a trailer in the near future, possibly in the next fortnight.

Besides, I'm getting the PC version anyway. The superior version over all platforms.

Get the PC version if you want peace of mind.
I will consider it, but console version is probably coming out first and there will most likely not be a PC demo. I got GTA IV for PC and even after the patches the framerate wasn't too good. Probably my processor but I'm not getting new CPU just for one game, I'll only upgrade now when I upgrade everything in my rig (GPU, CPU, RAM, etc)
Sleeping Dogs on the other hand runs much better and looks much better than Vanilla GTA IV, maybe Rockstar will make a good PC version this time.

its been proven on many occasions R.A.G.E engine games tend to underperform on the PS3 and run at a lower res and usually with less AA, and i assure you its a trend that will most likely continue.
