New on here...seeking opinions

So my thoughts and opinions are based on a few facts i researched. Xbox 360 is dead last due to hardware malfuncting....lack of 08 support, and the bias against microsoft, Wii is in first place because parents are ok with spending 250$ and buying something kids will like and isn't violent, Something kiddy adn affordable, but adults can enjoy it OCCASSIONALLY too. PS3 is growing with popularity exponentially due to increase in blu ray sales, increase in AAA games, and the promise of the 08 year. Also PS3 has 6 usb ports, free online, cell, and pretty revolutionaty new controller, sixaxis......

So i predict

Wii - 60 million all said and done

PS3 - 85 million (slight drop off from PS2, but no DRE so it's probably equally successful and loved)

Xbox 360 - 30 million (same as xbox 1)

i think the 360 will sell more than 30 million, ps3 wont even break 35 mill and the wii is aimin for about 50 mill. JPOBS

You forget that many people bought 2 or 3 PS2's. I was one of them.

soooo............ the industry is growing by leaps and bounds, yet total console sales will be LESS than last gen????

you are WAY off...

it's more like this:

PS3: 80 Million after 10 years

X360: 40 Million after 6 years

Wii: 100 Million after 5 years
