Does it lock hard drives? I'd really like to upgrade my hard drive some day. 80gb will not last me another 5 years.
[QUOTE="ferret-gamer"]i give it one week.ToScA-I'm saying three days. Nah, the community isn't that active (yet). Between a week to two weeks seems like a better estimate to me.
And guess who wont be connected to the internet to get this firmware?link

i give it one week.ferret-gamerDitto. Once you hack, you can't go back. Unless... teh cell and it's awesome powah can stop this!
the majority of people will just not get online till a new hack is released, Simply put sony has lost the war, they were secure in their fortress of too expensive to buy recordable blurays, and such but with prices down, and external HDs of 1 TB for the price of 50 dollars and such now they lost the war of a talented hacker breaking the code, and once that happend they lost the war completely now they will have the army of hackers working on the system.
I give it 2-3 days. Besides, a few days ago on Kotaku, it said that other, copycat hacks had already gone up for saleFunconsoleI remember seeing something that you can use software installed on a graphing calculator to do it. But like I said above, anyone who wants to do this will not connect to psn and update.
