I think Alan Wake has some of the best enviroments ive seen so far,next to crysisMkavanaugh77

Agreed, I really hope it ends up looking as good as it looks in those screens. 

Well it's not awe inspiring but much better looking than the earlier videos.... ground textures are still pretty low res though. Lazy_Boy88

There's only one ground texture, i.e., the "Megatexture" technology uses a single texture (~20,000x20,000, if I recall correctly - far from low-res) to cover the entire map.
