Hot damn this game is looking pretty sweet. Hadn't really been following this much but that's going to change now. :)

What's your hype level at with this game ?

I read that the 360 MP may be put on a second disk - no problem with me as long as it all plays well.

Great shots, this is the new game fromthe Quakemakersright? it looks good, but i'm not to sure about it yet, looks to much like Fallout 3, still the pics are great.

It is a different game then Borderlands though, only thing similar would be that it is a FPS and in a apocalyptic desert setting.

I havent been keeping up on this game so dont know what happened there. With that said, it still does look pretty good.

I would never confuse Borderlands and Rage lol, they are both exploration games, go to your local gamespot, it's the newest Game informer magazine sitting there.

id Tech 5 is probably the most brilliant engine ever made. It gives the the developer tools to create so much with so little effort.

For example, THIS level was designed by one person in just a week. Imagine what a small team of five can do in just a month. That is incredible when you realize that they've been working on this for YEARS.

I hope developers really take advantage of the engine, cause it's brilliant.

Quite frankly the mega texture technology is the only part of this engine that really impresses me, if I look at anything up close it stops being impressive.

I believe that is from the tech demo, which looked all around better than what we are seeing now. But, to be fair, it seems tech demos usually look better than the first game to use a new engine

actually I thnk thier console.. there are quite a few jaggies but it stil looks great.

I don't know why so many people write off Rage so quickly. Maybe they are still sore about Carmack's comments.

I dunno why, but there's just something about deserts and abandoned structures (particularly if the two are combined) that fascinates me, be it in a videogame or real life. I guess I'll be picking this title up to sate that fascination, along with Borderlands.
