it's visuals are amazing and with M+ the gamplay should be quite solid

The fact that Ubi is making it meansI shouldn't care. I hope everyone else knows better than to trust this too.

Every bit of actual gameplay I've seen from this game has looked weak and uninspired. Seems to me like just one more case of Ubisoft promoting style over substance, and "cool ****" over quality gameplay.

But hey, you guys feel free to trust them. I, for one, am finished with Ubisoft entirely.

is it just me or is splinter cell and NMH not bad games?

ubisoft does make great games occasionally...i'm sure they can pull it off this time since they're using M+

beat me too it and i thought KZ1 was a playable enjoyable yet forgettable experience much like Red Steel 1.Good but not good enough and overhyped but still fun to play for a weekend if you pick em up on thecheap.

Looks good graphically, still iffy on the gameplay. I'll just wait til reviews are out and what not. Red Steel wasn't as bad, imo, of how everyone portrayed it, but I bought it brand new, the anger still lingers in me.

But I think Nintendo should head in the direction of this game graphically for the next zelda game. I think this looks better than TP and me enjoying windwaker art style, I believe this is a good mix between TP and WW that woulnt get fans angry.

either way... a lot of people seem to think that anything with an Ubi logo on it somewhere just won't be good

I was hyping it then I heard some rumours of tone downs and remembered Ubisoft is making it.

KZ2 is actually a pretty poor example as there was abosloutely no way it could fail. GG had unlimited funding and around 5 years to work on the game. They also pretty much copied the standard FPS template (on the HD systems), the minimum it could have been was great.

Red Steel 2 on the other hand is alot more dearing. Not just with the setting/gameplay but the fact that it implements new technology. I know Motion+ makes motions better, just being first on a tech is likely to cause some problems.

Then theres the whole aspect of a first party Sony dev versus a 3rd party Wii dev that stated they use the Wii for a quick buck to fund their HD game (im not comparing the games).

I personally think the game wont be broken like the first Red Steel, but from what i've seen, it may suffer from repetitive and tedious gameplay. With Red Steel 1, ubisoft mixed east and west, with the second it looks all west. I hope Red Steel 3 (if it happens) is set in feudal Japan.

I'm sorry, but this game looks like crap. The graphics in that video looked ok, too bad they are not gameplay graphics... I'm thinking this game will do better than the first, but will still suck in terms of overall quality.

"Ubisoft" and "Wii" is a bad combination. I don't think this game will be good. I hope I'm wrong.IronBass

well there's really only been ONE red steel...so i think the developers can change it if they want and still call it red steel

when WW was first shown with it's cel shaded look everyone said it wasn't zelda....but god damn was it zelda...it was a beast of a zelda at that
