I enjoyed Saints Row more than GTA: Vice City and San Andreas. GTA III was the last good one, im not really excited for GTAIV. I think Saints Row 2 will be better, but because it has the name Grand Theft Auto slapped on the box, everyone is going to review it better and its going to sell better.

Saints Row is one of the best games I've played for the 360, with this kind of info, Im buying it day one, Co-op is double the fun, planes, holding hostages and double wield for guns are all great features and they are definitely are competing with GTA4.
I loved the animations in Saints row also, when you shoot some body or when you ram them then they fly away, it was awesome, Im glad it is multipatform this time, it is a great game and both sides deserves to enjoy it.
If Mafia 2, GTA4 and Saint row 2 comes next year, there will be alot of change for us gamers, enough shooters.
Loved the original and can't wait to pick this one up.me too, I just loved Saints Row, loved the single player, the online, co-op, it was all great and fun, and tunning cars and buying them was really fun too, not to mention that the side-missions were overall better and funnier than the GTA SM.
I'm more excited for this than GTAIV to be honest, but both should be amazing games.

Saints Row won't be anywere near GTA IV, but it still looks like its going to be one hell of a game.
I just hope Volition re-does the driving.
I enjoyed Saints Row much more than i did San Andreas. I think it's a shame so many people passed it up because of it's gta-rip-off appearance. It was a fantastic game which, if released as GTA4, would probably have been accepted as a great step forward for the series.
45% bigger? But but teh DVD holds back mah games! Unpossible!thirstychainsaw
Yes, because the original Saints Row was sooooo huge . It was about 1/6 the size of San Andreas. So 45% bigger than Saints Row is not a big deal at all. Of course DVD9 can handle that. Now, the question is...could DVD9 handle a world the size of San Andreas with high-def graphics, sound, physics. I don't think so. Oblivion barely could, and it had plenty of load times. A huge streaming no-load time game the size of San Andreas is not possible on 360.

And if they wanted it to be 90% bigger ...there'd be a problem, but then again that'd probably be the size of San Andreas so make that 200%.
Basically the point is people shouldnt say "its good enough" why WOULDNT you want to strive for more, Blu Ray bashing is retarded, the only thing you can say against it is it costs more to develop on.

Liberty City is larger then the 3 cities in San Andreas put together and GTA IV doesn't have any load times save for the one when you load a save.

GTA4 will not be larger then San Andreas, you read wrong, it'll be roughly the same size if not a bit smaller, the difference is it'll be packed with massive detail.

Liberty City was bigger than San Andreas, and alot of San Andreas was filled up with nothing. Crackdown and Saints Row are pretty much both first gen games, and they run just fine, with plenty of room to spare.
Saint's Row still holds up really well actually, why did they can the PS3 release of it again ?

PC games are irrelevent to that debate. They can be compressed and installed on HDDs.
