My interest in the title is most definitely growing and even tho the GTA series are far from my favorite works coming from R*; I have to admit that my interest in the 4 one may surpass everything seen in the series since my initial reactions of GTA 3.

Tho thats probably because of the series jump to a new generation, much like GTA3 before it.

I expected more something like this. The 360/PS3 is more capable then that.

Also the cars look very undetailed compared to the actuall first screens. I know GTA is all about gameplay but I wouldn't mind if it at leastlooked better then San Andreas :P

I have to admit the game does look good, I didn't like GTA SA because of the gangsta theme but this one actually does look interesting, mind you I have never been into GTA before but it could change,Swift_Boss_A

I'm sure it was a great game but it just didn't appeal to me, personaly I liked the theme of GTA3 and Vice City better

i see what your saying lol. but to me vice city was soft because it was pretty much scarface with a littile carlito's way mixed in. gta3 was a masterpiece though

That picture you posted actually looks worse than the TC's. Excellent marketing skills you should help out Sony's marketing department....maybe they'll actually sell more. :D

I think the first 3 pics look very nice.....be it 360 or PS3....... the lighting looks really good and I like the water in the last pic....looks realistically dirty.....

Rockstar said they didn't make it a literal block-for-block replica of New York. They went fo the main parts and some small streets you may find like a local laundromat or deli. But I dont think everyone will find their house. They said that real life doesnt quite work out for game design and fun (like there would be 4 acres of nothing but land development -- that's not something you want to put into a game. Niko would be running around forever)

I really really hope they let us inside that Carnival and I can bring rocket laucnhers and shoot the people on the roller coaster. I'm not violent, i just think things like that are funny :lol:

Yea I didnt expect it to be exact replica just because that'd take extreme amount of man hours just taking pictures days and days, and even if you did that things change after 2-3 years things get torn down, others built, but im just talking about the main stuff empire state building statue of liberty etc., even though theres a Statue of liberty mod for the PC version its not the same, and i have the same sentiment @ the carnival stuff lmao, i hope you can get on the rollercoaster too with first person view and dual shock rumble.

I bet the wii will get a new gen GTA game in some form. I bet they will announce it after GTA 4 releases.

I'll be playing GTA 4 on my ps3, but the game I really want is a GTA game that develops the motion sensing elements that Godfather introduced into that style of gameplay. I'm sure Rockstar is aware of what Godfather did on the wii, since they like to reference their immatators in their games, so they must understand that the potential for something great is there
