9.5

"Nintendo said all along that it went for gameplay over graphics with Wii. But with Mario Galaxy it got both perfect. Not only is Galaxy a worthy successor to one of the best games ever made, but it's one of the most entertaining platform games we've ever played."

Uppers:

- A worthy successor to Mario 64
- Gorgeous, huge environments
- Consistently surprising
- Great use of the Wii Remote
- Amazing soundtrack

Downers:

(none)

A 9.5, eh?

Lookin' good across the board, I predict a 9.0 from Gamespot. Nothing more, nothing less.

I've seen this review before but I still find it strange how they are no cons yet they give it a 9.5. Oh well still a great score.

Thanks for linking it guys it's kinda weird that there were no criticisms of the game whatsoever yet they didn't give it a 10.

The AAA scores just keep on coming. I wonder who will be the first to give it less.

Didn't mention the figity camera that other commented on. Hopefully then it's really not that noticable and they misse dit, or they are blind to the imperfections. here's hoping on the former.

I was gonna post this hours ago but didn't. I'm glad SMG is doing so well. No one has dared to give it a bad review yet. These reviews are even topping Halo 3, which is over rated anyways but that's besides the point.

Reviewers are saying the camera is almost perfect, but the only flaw is that it sometimes turns awkwardly.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gamespot does give it a 10. It sounds "Prime". And it would generate controversy and it would appease the sheep who claim "teh bias".

I think I'm gonna cry... the game's gonna be amazing.

Honestly, I'm trying to go into it with as low expectations as possible.

After the Bioshock reviews started coming in and people started claiming it was the best game ever, when I sat down to play Bioshock, I expected the best game ever. Boy was I wrong.

Hopefully that wont happen with Super Mario Galaxy.
