Looks just like Sonic adventure 1&2. They wern't bad games, they just didn't even touch the awesomeness of the old 16bit games.
omg this feels like a bootleg with how many people are walking across hahaangry_fork
You watch Bootlegs... someone call the FBI. jk LOL
I think the game looks pretty good. It looks better then Sonic the Hedgehog and I kind of liked that.
I used to think the same thing when I saw trailers to Sonic The Hedgehog (PS3, Xbox 360)
That game failed me so badly... :(

Keyword- trailers...this is gameplay
I really don't have to say how I feel about this game you can probly already tell my looking at my profile but yea I like it it's a mix of old school sonic and Sonic Rush it looks like sercret rings but that was on rails and this is not you fully control sonic in this one
It looks to much like that crap fest Secret Rings to even be considered good.Nuck81I thought Secret Rings was a very good game.
Honestly, they get anywhere close to SA 1or2, I will be VERY impressed. I cant remember the last time I WASNT let down by a sonic gameLooks just like Sonic adventure 1&2. They wern't bad games, they just didn't even touch the awesomeness of the old 16bit games.

The only thing they need to do is make sure I'm playing with Sonic the entire time. Hell I'd even settle for kunckles to change up the gameplay but make sure his levels are more aerial. No one else! The sonic games should focus on sonic, I don't wanna play with 10 other crappy people. Mavrickkalwell thats good cuz you only play as Sonic in this game buut you can also use tails to pilot sonic around the world when he goes to different levels

I loved the old plan levels in sonic. Now can they throw supersonic in there for good measure? Perhaps Superweresonic, that would be pretty interesting....
That video made me remember the main thing that I don't miss about the old E3: the poorly done videos with people ruining the gameplay, and the annoying music/talking in the background... :|
Anyway, despite that, I agree. This is probably my 3rd most anticipated platformer this generation (not there there's too much competition). The first being SMG before it came out, and the second being Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.
I have no faith in Team Sonic, infact I don't really see how anybody does these days. xxastrocreepxx
Nothing an ever touch the old sonics. However, i suggest you try Sonic and the Secret Rings. Once you get past the terrible chessiness of it all, you'll find the core gameplay to be quite fun.
Reminds me of Sonic Adventure 1 the most. But Unleashed looks to be a bit more linear with almost no secret areas hidden. I hope this turns out to be different though. This is definitely the fastest Sonic game yet from the looks of it.-Wheels-the other pathes are build in the level like the old Sonics so there are different branching paths up and down the level will most likly look like levels you would see in a old 2d sonic game lol I'm sounding like a SEGA rep in this thread
and to the guy who says he has no faith in sonic team well maby the fact that they have a new fresh team might change your mind just a little bit

Yeah, I am thankful they have included the branching paths. I STILL think I haven't figured out Casino Night Zone, so many paths.

I couldn't. The best Sonic game thats come out in recent years was Sonic Rush, yet somehow they figured a way to ruin that with a sequel.[QUOTE="organic_machine"][QUOTE="xxastrocreepxx"]

[QUOTE="PsyKosis"]WereHedgeHog FTL!!!! People seem to be forgetting about this or did they take it out?Sunamaru
no they diden't take it out...maybe people are just realizing that they should try something before dissing it...
Argh...those people are annoying...Especially the 2 guys that were standing right in front of the camera...
Anyways, this game looks pretty good. I just hope Sega did it well this time. :(
[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"]Wow they completely ripped the grind rail thing from Ratchet and Clank.myke2010
Those were in Sonic Adventure 2 for the DC. I'm pretty sure that predates R&C by quite a bit.
You are correct. If anybody did any ripping, Ratchet ripped them from Sonic.

No worries. To be honest Sonic Adventure 2 most likely ripped off the rail sliding from Jet Set Radio anyways.
