New Sony Sequel to be announced this Thursday.

What could it be I wonder? My best guess is Resistance 3.

I seen plenty of people hoping for a Syphon Filter sequel. Hopefully it's an exciting announcement and not a obvious boring one.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing a Lair 2 that was totally revamped kind of like killzone-killzone 2. I hope it's a syphon filter or Infamous 2 but I have a feeling it will be Motorstorm 3 or Resistance 3.

If David Jaffe is behind Twisted Metal for the PS3, then I highly doubt that would be it. He has stated numerous times that they might not even make it to E3.

A new Syphon Filter would be nice. You guys remember Syphon Filter, right?

A few others that I would be pleased with:

Motorstorm 3 (Have the races take place on various planets, excluding earth and you've got the best racing game ever)

Resistance 3, number 2 might have sucked but I think Insomniac have what it takes to make a REAL improvement on FoM

Resistance Tri with Split-screen campaign and weapon wheel + Grayson (or someone like him i.e. not boring, not another generic supersoldier) as main character = day 1 buy.

Retribution was great but held back by the hardware (idc teh graphix, auto aim was LAME). I played a few match online and it was full of auger campers with auto aim. That gun is really overpowered.

Motorstorm 3. I really hope its that. MSPR was one of the best arcade racers i've ever played.exiledsnake

Damn, you're probably right. They just created a Motorstorm 3 web page, so ya, I'm going with this. At first I was thinking Resistance 3 or inFAMOUS 2/ Sly 4 from Sucker Punch but that's E3 material.

I was thinking of making a list of possible titles...But you sir have made the definitive list :P. I personally hope is Resistance 3 or Star Hawk :). It could be Motorstorm 3 though!

I'd like inFAMOUS 2. Demon's Souls 2 or Uncharted 3 would be very top picks, but I guess I'm content having the current installments of those, I haven't beaten DS yet and I'm still getting play time out of UC2.

EDIT: Wait, introduced for the first time? Or will there be content about it? If first, obviously forget UC2, it's announced already....
