Not bad I'll say. When I buy it, it will be because of the single player campaign alone and the one mode in the game that will have couch co-op. MP is an afterthought for me, despite the whole loot box.

LOL at DICE single player game.
otherwise its just one of flashy cinematic trailer. show nothing and nothing happen at all.
I'll get it for the singleplayer when it's dirt cheap.
when was last time dice made a good SP game?
EA motive a studio jade raymond own is also working on this game so i see why this game has feminist influnce.
It will end up as a disappointing story mode for guys waiting for a SW single player game. EA Should have Allowed Red Fly to make that Darth Maul Game.
Remove the fantastic visuals and what do you have? Seems like the apt qeastion when dealing with EA's single player portions.
Dark Forces II looks like shit. Even on release it looked like shit, but it's gameplay is all substance.

i cant stand hit detection in FPS games.

DICE didn't develop it. Motive was the one that developed the single player. DICE just provided the tech and did the multiplayer. Criterion worked on it too.

Agreed. Clone Troopers should all be Austrian guy. Palpatine would view woman as a weak, at no point in Star Wars does he like them.
No i'm still waiting for a real Jedi Knight series sequel. Not this Battlefield total conversion mod. No fan of Star Wars games would wait for this.
Most would say the game being a skin of Battlefield would be an upgrade.
The ignorance of people in this thread is hilarious. Both have clue about the developer and are completely out-of-touch with the actual community.

You mean the lazors? Yea, in Jedi Knight they are actually quite terrible. The AI is hilariously cheap as well.
It's a very odd series where in Dark Forced II, the guns are great but the light-saber sucks, and Jedi Knight the guns are terrible but the light-saber is great.
Overall, prefer Dark Forces.
I'll wait until I see the Ultimate edition for $15 like I did the first game. Even then I don't know that I'd buy it. I get really bored with fps games very quickly anymore.

and what was the last motive good single player shooter?
No, it looks very dull to me, which is fitting in a way, since the new canon has handled the fall of the empire in such an uninteresting manner compared to the old EU.

Not sure, but I know it's not DICE developing. You're just moving the goalpost now. You're wrong and know nothing about the game. Go back and play Doom again. Let people get excited for things.

motive studio lead by jade raymond who create mediocre assassins creed games have no track record of making a good single player shooter before. well atleast DICE tried to make SP shooters but each time they failed.
before the release of original people were excited and look how it turned out. even fans of early battlefront games hated it.
the only good EA publish game since Crysis1/warhead is Titanfall 2 thats because of its quality SP campaign.

I remember reading somewhere the Graphics were great in 1997 despite not being the best.

I'm sure the single player will be awesome in either case, the story is canon-wise and not made for Star Wars Legends.
*looks up from the switch Nov games release list*
oh, that's cute...
Buying The Elders Scroll Skyrim Switch this November?

Na, compared to something like Quake 2 it was fairly poor. Thankfully you can mod it.

Buying The Elders Scroll Skyrim Switch this November?
After Mario Odyssey, I'm picking up Doom, Skyrim, and LA Noire. On their respective launch days.
Trust me, there is PLENTY of room for EA to disappoint, the first red flag that I can tell you right now is the fact that very little single player campaign footage has been shown, and the game's release date is drawing near, and that the game is mostly advertised for its multiplayer, add to it the loot crate scandal and you have yourself the ingredients for a shitty game.

I bet the SP campaign is simply a bunch of large scale battles that mimic the multiplayer except with bots.
TBH I havent played a DICE single player game that I enjoyed, that goes for their multiplayer games too if it werent for 1942, I am just not a fan of their games. However, this is Star Wars and it has single player so that changes things. I am a Star Wars nut so if this games campaign isnt all scripted and has plenty of actual gameplay then ill buy it. If not ill watch it on Youtube.
Is the single player story canon?
It's confirmed to be 100% canon. This story is said to take place right after the second Death Star blows up and as far as we know, it should all end leading up to whenever the Force Awakens movie starts. (Not sure if the story will reach near the New Order)

Ok. With that being said and correct me if i am wrong, but wasnt that Naboo shown in that trailer? If yes how could that be when it was destroyed by the first Death Star? I understand that it is part of the multiplayer, but why would they show it in the single player campain trailer?

This
I don't want to support progression locked behind lootcrates,
but I would like to play the SP one day.
Can wait, will wait.
my friend, you are very easily impressed by any game i see.

And you are the exact opposite:
You call so many games crap without even playing them.
But where does analysing eachothers behaviour get us ?
I just do what makes me happy and I'll continue to do so.

not without playing. I played and tried to beat new order before giving up.
this game looks same generic game and DICE never made a good SP game before. people always excited for DICE games before released and end up dissappointed. this is DICE yearly cycle.
