New Tales game exclusively for PS3 incoming? ( Rumor )

This week many JRPG developers/publishrs will have their annual press conference like Namco Bandai and NIS/NISA and of course many game announcements from new games to be annouced to localization for games. NISA is promisming to have great announcements for PS3 owners to bring out more games and NIS is getting ready to also announce some new PS3 games ( The new disgaea game Diagaea 4 or could be a whole new name ). a leaked interview have got out to indicate a new PS3 Tales of series to be annouced soon exclusive to PS3 and to be released in Japan this Fall 2010, also many people are expecting the announcement for the English verison of Tales of Vesperia PS3 to be probably and hopefully shown/annouced this week July15th.take the new Tales game announcement as a rumor for now and will see what happens

Which annoucment are you mostly looking forward to? hoping ToV gets announced in english and hopefully if there is a new tales game to be coming in english as well

Yeah but who knows maybe their saving it for their annual press conference, they usually show their new tales games on April 1st. well im hoping they say somthing about ToV PS3.

Why not wait and see what happens after the 15th? many people on the Tales fourms are expecting the english announcement during this week

Because I can read speak, and write Japanese. That and the JPN version will be cheap at around 30 bucks when the english one comes out.

Please let it be true. ToV is the only Tales title I've ever played.

That's cool. Too bad it won't be international considering Wii owners are still waiting for Graces.

I remember that but mine has more info on not just Tales8) lol,talked about NISA ( best company this gen! imo ), i wasnt sure if i should post it since yea again i remember that it was posted it before but the site updated it just recently and i was like why not :)

i really hope ToV gets localizied i've been waiting for too long. at least i still have abyss to plaly until the announcement

I really don't think we will be seeing an english PS3Tales of Vesperia, the game is already two years old. I look forward to a new Tales of game, just hope the bring it over here. (which may be unlikely)

Finalstar don't get your hopes up... Be prepared for disappointment!! You know they will make a exclusive Tales game for PS3 sure...that will never be localized for the states... its Bamco... they are the wosrt jp publisher out there. They will look at Eteranal Sonata and see how that port bombed on the ps3 and say ...oh ps3 gamers don't like jrpgs.. When in reality that game straight out sucked for story, sucked for characters and was a late port (even though it was supervior version, it still a sucky game) ... but you know Bamco will look at that... Which is most likley why we don't have Tales V over here right now. (if only Bamco took risks like SEGA)Midnightshade29

I really hope they do say somthing about ToV if not then at least with the new game. i personally really loved Eternal Sonata, was one great game i even bougt it twice since i traded it when i finished it on my first time then looked everywhere to buy it again. it sits in my collection now, an amazing game just wish if it had trophies. Namco should see the sales out on FFXIII and how great it did on PS3, or even for Demon Souls which was called niche, heck even Disgaea 3 all JRPGs that done great on the system or at least let other people localize them, many people are trying to tell NISA about localizing the game. they shouldnt be worried now, things have changed after the PS3 Slim. sigh i'll keep my fingers crossed for this one last tme of a ToV localization. if not and if its true ragrading the new tales game for PS3 then they better localize it!

ToV is not getting localized, better suck it up and import it. Or get a 360.

Edit: this Gxgear guys gunna make me flip my lid...yes namco's stupid, but c'mon remember that guy from the animecon who pretty much gave out the new characters voice over info for the NA port :lol:
