looks kinda nice but since Nomura is no more I lost the little faith I still had in this game.
All the videos are from the same presentation BTW.
Looks absolutely incredible and the scale is massive.
Here are some new gameplay footage starts at 6:30.
Chocobos at 13:30 :D
Second part.
But not all enemies and the events are implemented in the map. This is just to give a glimpse of the scale of the maps
I for one am glad that the over world map is back. Everything else right down to the clothes of the characters just gives me a bad vibe.
We'll see how it goes, it could be amazing or it could be absolutely horrible.
As I said before, graphically trumps The Witcher 3. Funny how all racist and biased western game posters can come up with is "weeaboo" in response to news of this game.
It looks excellent in graphics and gameplay from what I"ve seen. Only the story is completely unseen at this point.
The game looks good in graphics, animations, sized maps/exploration, but the characters doesn't seem all that interesting. They look like a bunch of j-pop singers. You can't switch characters and the lack of females presented in the game is a disappointment.
It would be cool to travel in the air instead of riding in some vehicle.
I'm still going to purchase the game though.
Visuals look superb! No complain at all!
Gameplay looks ok I guess... not really hating on it. Looks a lot better than XIII games at least. >__>

you are gonna be able to travel in air, confirmed in an event in japan last year after E3. we also haven't seen them summon yet
Looks boring, like everything else I've seen for it. Only reason it's got any hype is cows made a big deal about it last gen when it was supposed to be exclusive. Now everyone will be equally bored / disappointed. And just like last time (when FFXIII released), I'm sure cows will blame lemmings saying the game failed because of being ported to casual dudebro Xbots and not tailored to the refined tastes of PlayStation gamers and their superior hardware.
This game looks stunning, the open world is super detailed. The animations are so fluid and precise. Dat 10 year wait is almost over. Game of the century incoming. Step aside stalker/witcher, the true RPG king is upon us.
Please tell me you are joking.
Looks every bit as good as what I'd expect from a Final Fantasy game. I bet the ost will also be great as per usual with this series.
Too bad the gameplay and story will likely be a steaming piles of shit.
The little glimpses of this game have always looked freiking amazing, even when it was just PS3 previews (which turned into nonsense, but they did look interesting in theory).
It's hard to have any faith after last gen for Square, but I don't see how anyone can look at any of the previews and say it's shit. It might be shit, but the previews have to at least give some hope they will finally get it right.

Well obviously we can't gather much on the story from these previews, but the characters just look so annoying I can't imagine much good coming from it.
The gameplay though? I think we've seen and heard enough to reasonably say it will probably be shit.
Everything on the production values side looks beast though. If there is one thing that Square Enix consistently nails with this series, it's the spectacle.

I agree. I'm a fan of the final fantasy series, but I'm skeptical about the combat portion of the game. Hopefully it doesn't get boring to fast.
I have to admit that it's hard for me to hype this game up anymore. It's been in development way too long. At this point, its either put up, or shut up; so we can all move on.

.... only it doesn't look better... it looks "cleaner" as anime styles usually do. but it's not technically better than The Witcher 3.
If it has multiple huge areas like that it will be amazing. Remember they showed off FFX's Calm Lands in a PS2 tech demo but it turned out that was the only open portion of the whole game.
Sucks that the characters are so incredibly generic. To think we went from FF7 which featured Mr. T with a gun for an arm to a j-pop boy band.....
I admit it looks pretty cool...but it looks like it's for 15 year old with the hipster style all over the place.
Makes me want to give up on FF....oh wait...FF13 did that.
Looks good but not as good as The Witcher 3.
I like the look of TW3 better because I'm not a weaboo. But graphically, this just looks better. The character models, the lighting and stuff just look better to me. The hair renderer too is insane.
The videos you usually see for FF15 are in bad quality but I notice a lot of bad pop in for FF15 so the draw distance (at least on consoles) is low.
The Witcher 3 is rendering much more and has better effects. Sadly most of The Witcher 3 videos shown were from the consoles versions.
The PC version features enhanced lighting, fur, tessellation, water/weather effects and better draw distance.
Plus the Character models in The Witcher 3 are pretty good.

Ah now that's interesting. Hopefully the ability to travel through air will be executed well.

Damn, I wonder just how many notifications I miss on GS. This was one of them.
But yeah, right there with ya bro. Just ready for SE to squeeze this one out and show us something new.
I hope the game turns out well, but my expectations are at zero right now.
