This game makes me glad to be a wii owner. that was just incredible. Did you guys see the awesome hit detedtion. Oh my and the controls. It look so spot on too. Best shooting game this year obviously. Your a blind fanboy if you think otherwise.too_much_eslimWhat so wrong about the hit detection, you mean no big huge cone of damage? Perhaps super sticky aim like halo would have made the control look nicer (for you)...
Oh, Halo. Awesomers fps controls.

At least skill will be required for this game unlike most PS3 and 360 online shooters. :|
What so wrong about the hit detection, you mean no big huge cone of damage? Perhaps huge sticky aim like halo would have made the control look nicer (for you)... Wow You guys must be blind to see the guy get shot and no visual cue to let you know the guy is getting hurt. Also there was auto aim in it buddy. i was tryimng to figure out why it is there.[QUOTE="too_much_eslim"]This game makes me glad to be a wii owner. that was just incredible. Visual cue? The characters react to the bullets and there seems to be a little blood.

If you're close enough, you'll hear a difference in the sound but if you're far away, what kind of cue would you want? Dude you see blood splatter in N64 games. I didn't see anything happen. I check the vid again to make sure.Nedemis

That gif makes no sense Loco. For one that is Halo 2. Next It is a SMG that the player obviously doesn't know how to use. 3rd I know for a fact the auto aim is strong in Halo2 plus it has huge hit boxes. However, for a system that wii owners claim to be stronger than the xbox it doesn't make the conduit look fun at all.too_much_eslim
What? The Graphics? Anyway, that shows the sticky aim of the Halo series. Also, I don't see the auto-aim in the Conduit video. Can you be more specific? Im gona post a WaW video here and you tell me if you see auto aim or not. here.
The hit detection looked pretty bad, but it LOOKS nice, and thats all the Wii-owners (including me) want, right? Jeez what hypocrites...
It looks really generic, but thats not necessarily a bad thing.

That looked fun to you. Geez. When I saw resistance multiplayer I knew it would be garbage just by looking at it and then trying it out. I saw KZ2 multiplayer and was blown away by how much fun it looked. Only Halo 3 and sometimes PDZ is fun. COD games looked fun. Heck I even thought red steel Multiplayer looked fun. i haven't played jt though, but this game (conduit) looks trashy in every sense of the word. Also question to wii owners did Punch Out Wii come out yet?

I'm talking about the overall package from graphics, to physics, to gameplay, to presentation, and everthing else in between. The game does not scream quality to me at all.Looks decent. Kind of a mix of Halo and Timesplitters. If it turns out to be the best fps experience on the Wii then I'll pick it up for sure.

first I have a question. Why was a mouse like cursor shown from the start. I don't recalll see anything like that happening with any of my wii games. I don't have CODWAW at all. Next it is quite clear there isn't any auto aim for this game. It was a night and day differrence. The conduit does though.[QUOTE="loco145"][QUOTE="too_much_eslim"]That gif makes no sense Loco. let the Wii owners have their fun, its their first big fps after all
(OMFG! THEIR SHADOWS ARE A LITTLE CIRCLE HAHAHA    )
This is an example of a game getting way over hyped than it needs to. Video is interesting but it looks like any other FPS we've seen on the market already. oh, and plus a bunch of generic.HaziqonfireWe are not asking more than that really... (Other than the controls).
Stop being a bully :|While I do own a Wii, my main platforms are my 360 and my PC. However, I do find The Conduit interesting enough to the point where this will probably be a release day purchase for me. It's just nice to see a 3rd party dev really spend some time with the Wii for once and I want to make sure I do my part in supporting them.let the Wii owners have their fun, its their first big fps after all

I agree with that. I have always been a happy wii owner though. and this is like the cherry on top!
Looks pretty fun so far, hopefully they work really hard on polish from now until launch. Didn't see any melee in that video. Hopefully it's viable without being OP, I think Halo did a pretty good job of balancing that out. In fact, wouldnt mind them coping as much quality assurance as they can from Halo.. a Halo type fun experience with motion controls would be a dream come true:p

1.1 Million people bought the good (8.0) Call of Duty World at War on Wii, hopefully the will buy Conduit
On topic: Conduit looks generic, just like most FPS on consoles these days
but after playing MOHH2 on Wii online, i need my Wiimote FPS controls in online shooters, and Conduit looks to deliver Unreal-esque fast paced action with 13 different modes, and the ASE football mode looknig very, very nice.
Yea, story looks dumb but isn't its story and premise essentially Halo, Resistance, etc? Super Soldier saves Humanity from baddies?
But the online looks fun, previews have said before the COnduit's controls are the best on Wii and perhaps the best FPS controls on consoles, perhaps that can make up for some of the genericness of the title in general
some of the weapons look cool.
You gotta respect HVS either way, they've gone out of their way to make a game tailored to Wii's strengths
1. clearly use lots of bright colors to make the graphics appear better, easier on the eyes
2. Add lots of modes when Wii owners wouldn't expect much more than TDM, DM, etc.
3. Customizable controls, Online Voice chat, streamlined friend system
they're really trying for Wii, why they don't just make shovelware, make it for another console, i don't know. they care, they really care. they see FPS on Wii and see its ripe for the picking, they could dominate it. Gotta admire the devotion whether you applaud the execution or not.

it's strange, cause Valve (aka god of FPS) haven't done anything for the wii... despite its "uber awesome" control scheme" :? oh, maybe they want to add some nice ghpxs, ai, physics to their games....[QUOTE="TaMuK711"][QUOTE="Giancar"] yeah, that's why the best FPS ever (Half Life) is in ALL systems... oh wait :shock:Giancar

Plus they are one of the few PC exclusive developers left and I want it that way. (The 360 ports? lol ).
