Real time weapon change
Discuss whether you think this will control as well as a PC shooter.

ehh...jeez that looks horriblechikenfriedrice
Just quit it already. The video isn't even meant to show off the graphics and already you've started taking fanboy shots.

well i'm watching the video and that's the only thing that stands out to me not the controls...no fanboy shots here
PC will still handle better.Legendaryscmt
Uh, duh?
Looks good, I'm really liking how they're taking the whole controller customization seriously.
Oh god, the game looks terrible graphically -_- So much for the "360/PS3 quality" graphics..
Otherwise, the control options seem pretty cool, but it seems way too many for the average gamer.

Uhhh no. It really does look horrible. not just the graphics, the whole game.
Saying this game looks horrible is not being fanboyish.

Wii already has enough 'average' gamers, more games like this would be much welcomed.

I think it looks quite good for what it is.
really? idk it looks really bad to me for some reason....I guess playing crysis has ruined everything for me
Doesn't really look that it's a feature that bennefits from being in real-time, there's no real life action or ability it's mimicking - therefore I'm not exactly impressed :?

Did you watch the video? Or do you just not understand it? It's merely to show the levels of customisability there is, and most Wii owners who've played Medal of Honor Heroes 2 will tell you that being able to adjust the deadzone to your tastes in real time, rather than just guessing the size you want it in a menu, is a lot better. Plus it helps with the other sliders, like when you play a PC game and there are all those options in the controls menu and you think "What the hell does that even mean/do?!" Let's you figure that out easier =p

Of course I watched it. And there is nothing wrong with being able to customise your weapons like that, But, does it bennefit the gamer being able to do it in real time and it's not the sort of thing that you can adjust in real life so I therefore can't see that it helps to make a believeable immersive world.
I don't understand why they're doing all this with the control scheme. It's really not that interesting and if I were to play the game,it's not something I would use.stepat201
But I would. See, that type of thinking upsets me. That thinking is why Bungie didn't put bots in their offline MP. "Everyones going to be online, whos gonna use it?" It rediculous.Give the playereverything you can. Don't takeout a GOOD feature and say "nobodys gonna care." people DO care.
I'm impressed that they are actually trying to make the game control as best they possibly can.It looks like an N64 game, but I gotta respect the effort. At least control wise.heretrixIt doesn't look like an N64 game.

Ive played Crysis on max at 1280x1024 resolution and it hasn't ruined everything for me. Seem's like you got a problem though.

Weapon adjustments!? This is not Crysis or some FPSRPG. >.>Adjusting controls in real time is a major convenience as explained earlier since you're able to quickly experience the effects of your adjustments and change them just as quickly if needed to get the controls suited for you. Being able to move the way you want helps immersion a lot as you won't be taken out of the world due to terrible control configurations.

Ok,sure. But it's not a huge deal. It's controller options for gods sake. Every game has sensitivity options. Who cares?
I just think it's sad that this is what the devs are hyping.

It's a feature that only the Wii-mote needs. With a mouse or analogue stick, the only things you need to adjust is the speed of movement, which I always set at the start to match what i always play to.
the graphics suck . what system is that forsilverammo
It's for the Wii which is why it looks good to me.
What does the dead zone do? :?Brainkiller05while you aim in it the camra stays still when you move out off it the camra moves and folows your pointer
For a second i thought you were talking about a game called real time weapon change:o change the title.
I really think HVS can deliver at this point.

It's a huge deal on the Wii. Try playing Far Cry. MoH:H went a step in the right direction by allowing some customization. But this is just incredible.

Uh what? Yes I played Far Cry on the PC 4 years ago, what does that have to do with this?
And maybe it's just me but I don't find this to be the least bit incredible. It's an options menu.

I'm talking about Far Cry Vengeance for the Wii. You don't find cunstomization in menus exciting? That would make sense, because the games you play all have this. But to a Wii player, having games severely lacking this feature, this is exciting news. It's a little late to the party, but better late than never.
[QUOTE="Wanderer5"]That is pretty cool. And to the guy that said it look at the N64 game, are you serious?:|heretrix
Yes.
Do you fear god? (just curious)
