Wait are you angry because PS3 got a timed exclusive and X360 has to wait?

The phrase "what goes around comes around" comes to mind. Sony fans have been complaining about the same thing for a year.....now it seems the shoe is on the other foot and people are going to hate it.

Looks fantastic, as can be expected.

Too bad the action looks *IDENTICAL* to UT2004, which couldn't hold a candle to UT99. Hopefully the non-Onslaught modes will still be tight. I could never get into ONS for some reason, everything felt too spammy.

Hopefully Epic can rekindle my love for UT(99) with this one, UT2003/2004 left me pretty jaded...it's gonna take more than eye candy this time.

one question are there still bots in UT and how many can you have? that was always the thing that set UT apart from the rest for me.

Uhh.... wtf? The only reason you have to wait until 2008 to play it is because Microsoft is STUPID. And they're the greedy ones. Epic wants to release free maps and allow user-created mods for UT, but since Microsoft are complete morons, they want Epic to charge for these types of things (so that M$ makes money off it, naturally). That's why the 360 version is being delayed till 2008, because Epic is still arguing with Microsoft about this. How in the world you can come to the conclusion that Epic is greedy here is beyond me. I'm just gonna pretend you meant to say Microsoft.

Its not suprising, its not a port, they were both developed together from day 1.

One can only hope.

There are a TON of FPS games coming out (on the PC, at least) with supposedly great multiplayer modes (Quake Wars, Crysis, Team Fortress 2,...). UT made it's name by offering a ton of game modes with varied level designs, butmany are barely played online, or don't get much love. For example, Bombing Run is pretty fun with players who know what they're doing, but there aren't too many servers (last I checked, it's honestly been a while).

Hopefullyall the modeswill be worked on to stand out from the crowd. I'm looking forward to seeing this in action once I upgrade my PC :-)

I'm sure there will be bots, it wouldn't be UT without them to massacre :-)

And I say "spammy" meaning that in Onslaught, it seems like most of the weapons have a ton of splash damage, so it becomes a game of spamming the ground around the enemy for easy kills. I guess it goes back to the old Quake3 vs. UT99 debate of which game had the best (or most balanced) weapon loadout.
