2017 or 2018 for sure heck if they do what Namco Bandai been doing they might release it to PC alongside the PS4 version in the West (hopefully assuming Sega localizes it)

PC gamers been putting great support to JRPGs so im sure if not day 1 it will release on PC eventually

Need some gameplay, the developer's resume doesn't tell me much.

Would be great to see some gameplay but im going to guess that wont happen for a while now at least not this year

Sorry to be that guy but I'm genuinely getting sick of all of these anime-esque Japanese games flooding the PlayStation 4. Sure it's great that these JRPG's are supported or whatever but it's kind of reached the breaking point of becoming the vast majority of the PlayStation 4's release library. This is one of the critical reasons I'm not entirely happy with this console, it's got games coming out but just really nothing that appeals to me, I can't be the only one.

It feels insanely imbalanced, JRPG's from every possible direction all the time with a Western styled title a few times a year...

I find myself relying on the mostly mediocre mainstream library of 'Western' games rather than anything else, it's honestly becoming a Japanese game console worldwide. There seems to be quite a few Western derivative quality games coming next year but these Japanese filler games are really killing me...

It's hard to see the future while being bombarded by shit I couldn't give a damn about left and right...

I'll maybe check it on PC if they decide to bring it.

I bought the first game and I barely played it. I thought it'd be different from other Japanese games but it was the same annoying dialogue I usually expect.

It's absurd that this isn't on PC, especially considering how well the original sold on Steam.

Yea but it seems like japanese developer for this kind of game want to focus on releasing it in Japan where the audience own mostly console .

@finalstar2007: Japan only right now. Meh. The remastered game is only the first game? I want the complete trilogy remastered and released in the states on the PS4.

The problem with that is there are more PS4 sales in Europe and U.S. then there are Japan. So it's really stupid not to bring the whole series to these countries ASAP. Japan should be an afterthought since they are playing more handheld and mobile games in Japan, then they are console games. The VC games are excellent though. They should have released the 3rd game outside of Japan.

Valid point. Especially considering this game is still not confirmed for a Western release yet. But I have hope that once it's confirmed, they may go ahead and release the PC same day, or shortly after.

Begging? Sega brought Valkyria chronicles to PC so it doesn't really seem like begging to believe there is a reasonable possibility it will come to PC

I'm sorry, but a lot of this thread does seem to be begging for a PC port; this from someone who owns a One, PS4 and PC. We should be acknowledging the growing PS4 exclusive library, instead it's a debate over how likely the game is to come to PC. While the PC JRPG library is undeniably growing, the PS4 has fast become Japan's go to system for games - which is an impressive feat for a console many believed was too Western oriented to be popular there.

Its truly great to see many RPG's especially very well known ones are coming back to the console world.

In terms of PC port begging i wouldnt really call it begging i mean PC gamers have been supporting many JRPGs hence the increased releases of JRPGs on PC lately alongside the PS4 and besides PC gamers did get Valkyria Chronicles so it makes sense that many want to continue playing this franchise

Hmm, it seems the game might be paced faster with just a 3 man squad, plus i don't see much of fire power from the main characters, so i guess they are Valkyries hence the swords and melle atacks.

although I liked valkryia chronicles, I wasn't much of a fan of the race like gameplay, where in most instances I experienced you could just take 1 squad member across the entire battlefield as fast as possible ignoring the enemy, I hope that changes.

The first Valkyria Chronicles is "only" one of my all-time favorite games.

I'll grab this and the original remaster, as i've yet to play it. It looks pretty damn nice.

The game hasn't been formally announced for western territories yet (where the PC actually has presence). I'd imagine it's going to be the same situation we had with Tales of Zestria where the PC version was announced alongside the localisation.
