I wish people wouldn't dismiss the idea so quickly. 4 Swords wasn't that horrible. Why are you all so quick to oppose cooperative play? Because of one game you weren't fond of in the past?
Yeah I agree, was not very good and it was a horrible choice to not allow just 4 people to play with 4 controllers. IMO 4 players gets way too hectic when everyone has to share a screen.
If you don't feel it belongs, report it. But don't report this one, it belongs. That being said, you shouldn't be posting in things you think are off-topic.
I always thought it would be cool to have a central area like Hyrule field that could be an online space where different players could interact with each other. Getting past a gauntlet of human foes on your way to the next area could be very thrilling compared to the usual fare of dimwitted moblins. The human players could show up as enemies too maybe or human knights or something.

Wasn't bad at all just that whole GBA thing was kind of dumb.
But when you got 4 friends together it really was alot of fun.

I had Four Swords for the GBA. The one time I was actually able to get four people together and play it was pretty fun. I wouldn't mind seeing a new cooperative Zelda game for the Wii or DS with online.
Though they could just make a new IP for that kind of game.
I don't think it would work out well (for me personally) since I had trouble getting people together to play 4-swords. If they made it a side-part of the game, I would welcome it. If they added online play, I would try it.
