MS has released a report saying that u can share your game library with up to 10 people that are on ur family list and it seems like this is regardless of where the person lives. if this is the case, i will no longer be concerned about the drm issue although i am not completely enthusiastic about being forced to connect to the internet.

I remember when I could bring my NES copy of Ninja Gaiden over to a friend's house so we could rage at it together with no strings attached.

understandable but assuming that u can completely alter ur family list at any time, this would be virtually the same thing if not better because they can play it digitally

Where does it stop? If this is the limit, whats to stop MS from slowly bringing it down when they find people chopping and changing their "family list"?

that's unlikely. u and any given family member can play any of ur games at the same time. of course people will exploit this but we are better off in this situation than we've probably ever been.

Or even just about any Xbox 360 games, as it just needs to see the disk in the drive to confirm ownership. With all the restrictions, it's like the goal of the company is not to sell any of their new hardware and send people elsewhere.

You can justify it as much as you like however

Playing a disc on any system will always be better than any type of DRM.

The only winners with DRM are corporate America and the losers are us.

Limited or not, at least it's something. I game share with both 360 and PS3 now, and only share with fam. So having some sort of game sharing is always good.

From how its worded you can always play any game at anytime from your shared library and ONLY one other can play a game from it. So it seems like you can't have 10 people playing different games at the same time!

who the f u c k care for shaing games. the problem is not this. the main damn problem is the drm. they adopted the ps plus policy and added 100% more evil into it.

the thing about ps plus is that it is not compulsory and they give u free retail games to rent till ps3 is discontinued. with the satan box one they rent u all games that u pay full price for them and must play them while online and once the satan box one is discontinued u lose everything u hav and for all the money u invested in the system, u will hav nothing to show for it
