Next Big Game?

This year we had the privilege to play two amazing games GTAIV and MGSIV yes both are great so does this mean great games come out every other year or every 4 years? Does a game need many game series to come out before it can be praised and have all the hype? Mario, Halo, GTA, Zelda, and MGS all build there hype from previous installs and word of mouth. So whos next in line: Gears of War can be close but just 2 games out dont think so, Resistance 2 nah, Killzone 2 lots of hype behind it and big budget but the first one will keep it from being great, Fable 2 nope "dont tell Saolin tho", Resident Evil 5 i dont know something about the other installments kept it from breaking out (loved by hardcore gamers tho) 4 was close.

So my pick for the next big game "God of War 3" thats right pretty soon you will see a sticky of all that is great on GoW and this installment will be even bigger because of it coming out on a next-gen console which= BIGGER, BETTER, EPIC STORY, EPIC BOSS BATTLES and The Almighty Bada$$ KRATOS.

This imo so let me hear your comments or your pick for the next big game. Keep in mind #3 does not always mean the best MGS and GTA did it with #4 or maybe GeoW will do it with #2.

Zelda Wii (I think it will be announced at E3 they started developement when Twilight Princess was being ported to the Wii)

Half-Life 2: Episode 3 (The others were big but since it is an Expansion of the same game it might not get an Official Hype thread I forget if the others had one)

Team Ico's PS3 game (Its Team Ico)

Edit* The last two are probably far away and Zelda Wii is going to probably just get announced and show some stuff, so I think S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Skies (will be the next big game since it is the closest to releasing out of the ones I can think of.)

Are we talking just popular or just great games?

I think Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway will be a suprise most people.

Every single gameplay video has intrigued me and others judging by the good/bad comments ratio. Could easily get a 9.0.

lol yea Stalker is one other but SPORE wow in its first try? and Too Human the delays that it had will keep it from being awesomesauce does not sit well with people.

The next BIG HUGE game will be Resident Evil 5 if we are talking franchises.

Wow Zelda on a wii right now will be up there with GoW 3 because it is on Nintendos newer platform and considering how many wii are sold my goodness.

Splinter Cell 5, RE5, Spore, or Fable 2 if you're talking about games capable of acheiving 10's

Personally, i'm the most hyped for SP5, I like the change in direction for the franchise.

Spore, because Will Wright is the western developer equivalent of Jesus.

StarCraft II, because StarCraft is the national sport of South Korea.

Fable 2, because if everything Peter Molyneux promises is true (unlikely), then even god will buy the game.
