Next CoD confirmed to be Call of Duty Ghosts

It has been rumoured the next CoD game will be CoD:Ghosts and no the box art supposedly leaked for it

Along with Tesco having it up in their retail section

The only reason I'm interested in BF4 is because I much prefer the Battlefield style of game. That said I'm still getting sick of these modern military shooters all together. We've just had too many in a row.

I did not like Black Ops 2 at all. I thought it was just bad.

I would love that.

RO2 is fine and all, but I want something bigger and more actiony. My favorite CoD is actually WaW because it was everything great about the previous WWII CoDs wrapped into one.

It was unfairly hated on because it was just "another WWII FPS".

i always end up buying and playing COD, just for a few weeks mind. BLOPS2 MP was really bad, nailing someone with a full clip, only to die and watch the killcam of them one-shot killing you....not fun at all.sts106mat

It was the opposite for me. Everyone was dying way too easily. Running around corners and getting blasted dying instantly. Or doing the same to another dude, there were no tactics, it's a game of "he who shoots first, wins"

Crysis 3 has a similar problem. Killcams are total ass, and it shows guys shooting beside your head and yet you dying.

What annoys me most about CoD is because the maps are so small, guys throw sh!t right at the start of rounds and get lucky kills with Semtex or something. Sure if you're really good at the agme it can be amazing to watch or it's fun if you have a really good round, but I personally dislike the speed at which everything happens, it feels too cheap

It may be balanced, but the god damn netcode/engine keeps getting worse with the lag comp/camera issues

If it was a next-gen only game I probably would be alot more interested. Black Ops 2 kinda drove me away from the series (even though it was a really good Call of Duty)

Black Ops 2 just bored me. The gun balance isn't really good in the long run. It's all about high rate of fire weapons. That's boring. It's balanced becuase there is no one gun that's blatently OP becuase so many do the same exact thing.

The single player for Black Ops 2 was just flat out boring. It held my hand more than I could play. I was constantly forced to slow down and participate in some in-game cutscene or wait for an NPC to tell me when to go. I couldn't stand it. It took me out of the game far more than Black Ops and MW3 did despite their insane amounts hand holding.

Games need to realize that forcing a player to stop and wait for NPCs or arbitrarily slowing them down to pick up an ally or something constantly is not fun. Just don't constrain me. 

Just note, BF4 looks to make all of the same mistakes with its campaign as well. Too much cutscenes and handholding, not enough straight up gameplay. I don't mind linear shooters, never have. Shooters have been linear since the days of Doom, but Doom never forced you to lose control of your character 2-3 times a level.
