Next console for Kingdom Hearts?

So I was playing Kingdom Hearts Re:CoM on the PS2, and I thought to myself "Wow, the graphics are blurry (due to TV size). I wish I could be playing this on my 360." Then I thought "Oh wait, it's not on the 360...or PS3.....will I have to get a PS3...?"

Now I want to know this: will KH3 be released on 360 or PS3?

Personally, I say 360 because:

-Most of Square's games appear to be on MS's console with its exclusives such as FFXIII, Star Ocean 4, etc.

-Could boost sales in Japan like Tales of Vesperia did...sort of

Well, there's more reasons tham that, but I can't think of them....

It could go to PS3. It could be multiplat and go to the 360 as well. Kingdom Hearts III could even to go the Wii.

At this point, all we have is speculation. It could go to Wii for sales. It could be multiplat for sales and because someone at SE said they like working with the 360, and then Nomura likes the PS3 and the KH team is working on Versus so they will know the hardware and have the engine, so it could go to the PS3.

All we can do is speculate.

It hasn't been. If it had, System Wars would have exploded with threads despite many SW-goers' distaste for the series.

Unless everyone, including other game sites, have somehow missed it.

I am not sure what console it may be on, all I know is that most of the FFv13 team will be working on it after FFv13 is completed.Theverydeepend

Square doesn't have sides. They just want to make money. KH3 would most likely go on the PS3.gamah_killah

The Wii, by far. Square is more concerned with making money these days (they do need it though) than actually releasing quality products. They are a company that has been hemoragging money in so many fronts and seeing so little return, one of these mergers they have been trying to pull off might have to go thru if FFXII flops (it won't probably).

FFXII still runs the risk of sinking the company untill it comes out. The white engine they developed for it is just ludacris expensive, the engine development costs itself, not including actual game production costs, have reached $200 million. That is alot of bread my friends.

Initially, it will be probably be on the PS3. I say 'probably' because Square had a good reputation of making their RPG sequels on the same console--until Star Ocean: The Last Hope which is exclusive on the 360 right now. I still strongly believe they will release this particular series on the PS3 because it did sell well on the console.

Whether it will be exclusive or not, that is a different discussion.

I wouldn't even expect Kingdom Hearts this generation. It doesn't begin development until FFXIII Versus is finished. If one of the current gen consoles still has support 2014-2015, it might go there

OR, if the handheld ones do well, they might even throw KH3 on the DSi or a later PSP

I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up on all three consoles personally, though if I had to bank on something I'd put my money with the Wii since Square is starting to show a whole lot more interest in the Wii, plus that would give them a chance to bank on another DS game in the process probably. However if it does go to the HD consoles then it will be a multiplatform game for sure, Square can't make enough siding with just Sony and Microsoft is still risky ground in terms of RPGs, so they'll bank on both and have all their bases covered.

The Wii seems to be the most appealing at this point.

Also its just been hinted that its been in the works, nothing has been outright confirmed at this point.

Versus is still PS3 exclusive. They have not all gone multiplat.

I am going with PS3. Not a fan of the series either way tho.

:lol: ff13 isnt exclusive to 360 your just getting a port. :) also I think square is making alot more for the ds and soon psp then the 360

Sorry to let you know, FFXIII isn't Exclusive to the 360, despite tricky marketing used at E3 2008.
