Next console for Kingdom Hearts?

I can only see it being exclusive to the Wii. If not, then a PS3/360 multiplat.-DrRobotnik-

It's quite likely to stay PS3 Exclusive. The same people who are saying it "can't stay exclusive to PS3" are the same people who harp on about the "360 Exclusive JRPGS" from SE.

Really, is the 360 the only console allowed to have exclusives? As said earlier, if Nomura's team has its way, it'll stay Ps3 Exclusive.

I want KH3 on the PS3 main;y because I want all the consoles to have their fair share of SE franchises. 360 gets FF13 and Star Ocean, PS3 gets FF13, FFVS13 and KH and the Wii gets Dragon Quest, FFCC:CB and Vagrant Story(this is a dream of course).

Reasons for PS3: Nomura is a PS fanboy. The FFVS13 team is essentially the KH team so they will have expierence with the hardware.

Reasons for 360: It will never be 360 exclusive but multiplat is forseable due to the 360's presence in the west. The 360 can sell software, and square has said it needs its future efforts to be multiplat for this generation.

Reasons for Wii: If its on the Wii it may actually come out this generation lol. The Wii's install base is hard to ignore. The wii is the undisputed king of Japan. The Wii's dev costs are far lower than the HD consoles. Disney has a say and they know the wii has a fanbase for disney like characters.

My personal wish, KH combat sucks plain and simple. If they go HD they sure as hell better give it more depth, if that doesn't happen then I'd rather it be on the wii where they will actually have to think and be creative with the control scheme. I'd rather take the technical downgrade then have to essentially play KH 2 HD.

Any game really could benefit sales being dumbed down for casuals to go on the Wii really so thats not really a suitable reason for KH fans either. When KH fans saw the KH2 secret trailer, thats indeed how they invisioned KH3 to be. True next gen graphics coupled with KHs fun gameplay. Not PS2 graphics with teh wagglestick dumbed down gameplay. So the question is now, do Square Enix take the greedy route and make a casualized super dumbed down PS2 graphical mess, being the worst KH to date all for teh sake of drawing in teh non gamers or teh kiddies? Or do Square-Enix make a quality next gen HD KH3 game that will be the best KH to date that will astound KH fans with how good it is? It wouldn't be surprising if they put it on the Wii but it definitely wouldn't be the right choice.

Kingdom Hearts has great art-direction and the graphics are clean, smooth, and look great. Which, with an HD console, seeing the characters in the detail that FFXIII or Versus XIII have would be amazing. Especially if they plan to introduce Pixar worlds in the future titles, the extra power could help with the immersion there.

All of them. Squeenix doesn't make exclusive games anymore, you should know that. They will probably end up making five different "exclusive" games for the Wii, PS3/360, DS, PSP and N-Gage and then expect you to own all of them to get the full story.foxhound_fox

This is final fantasy Crystal Chronicles the crystal bearers gameplay from 2007. Below is KH2. I really hope its obvious which one looks better. Far Better. If you think kindom hearts has great graphics, I'm happy for you but I don't see anything great about them at all. I think you completely misunderstood the point of my post. There is no hidden power of the wii, there is no proof that wii controls will enhance the gameplay, I never stated that. I want kingdom hearts 3 on an HD console but simply saying teh waggle will ruin the game is beyond stupid. If what I said was ignorant to you so be it, but understand that I never implied that the wii controls will improve anything. What I have continuously said is that if all KH3 is going to be is KH's average gameplay on HD consoles then I would rather see them move tto a system where they will be forced to change things up. Um... Is KH3 even announced? As far as we know, the PSP prequel and DS spin-off are the only KH games in developments right now IIRC. KH2's ending pretty much wrapped things up (unlike KH where the ending left it wide open for a sequel) so who knows if there will even be a KH3...CyberRuler

These are the 3 possible scenarios really:

1.Goes to PS3/360(mostly likely)

2.Goes exclusive to ps3(2nd most likely)

3.Goes exclusive to Wii(least likely)

Because they don't have to change anything, and a certain system isn't going to change that. Now that might not be at all what you are saying, but it sure seems like it is.

And the only reason I assumed that that is what you wanted is because that is the way you made it sound. You are saying you find it incredibly annoying, and attempting to put the blame on me for misinterpreting you. I don't think my reading comprehension is terrible but it is more difficult to convey meaning through text so in the future if you are trying to give something a specific point detail it further.

And as for the graphical comparison (use more similar images in later comparisons), yes the Crystal Bearers looks better, but not "far" better. FFXII looked better than KH2 as well, and Crystal Bearers looks a lot like FFXII to me.

So in the end, yes I believe I see what you are saying. But just saying "that if it is similar on the HD consoles then I would like it go to the Wii" makes people think Wii-fanboy, or something like that which is never good, so put in there "and vice versa" or something. That is annoying. I don't understand why someone would get enjoyment out of a game coming to their console if they have no intention of playing it. I would want the game to go to the system in which the fanbase that wants to play it is. In this case it is the PS3 and generally speaking, its better for the game's future if it remains that way.

I want to see the title on the PS3 as well, and if it happened to go the Wii I would be disappointed. But I'd get over it, support the game and buy myself a Wii to play it.

We really have no clue where the fanbase is as this console wars is rather strange, the wii dominates Japan no questions but the 360 has a huge presence in the west aswell and the PS3 does fairly well in europe. Personally I'm hoping for PS3 though.

They assume that the game will look like an N64 game and that it will play for you so long as you swing the remote as hard as possible.

What they forget is that SE is a company that no matter what console they work on, they always push the hardware, and that the wiimote and nuchunk have buttons.
