The swords looks pretty good, butr is it possible to make some sort of artistic CGI image? That way you have a benchmark and we have some idea of what to expect :)

Also is it some sort of hack and slash or is it an RTS?

RPG Since it would require easy programing but lots of artistic models. Don't know if I should use a game engine or make it myself. I'm just doing the basic art for fun. I will of course lower the detail for the game to fit the hardware.
