Next NINTENDO NEXTGEN console?

So what you think they will do? will they switch to more hardcoere gaming audience or keep going after casuals.

This is not flaming wii thread, I think wii is great console for casual gamers. So dont get offended or think Im against wii! :)

Nintendo said that they would make their next console's hardware on par with competitors. To be honest I think it hurt them that they didn't do that this gen. Right now inferior hardware is keeping a lot of multiplatform games off of the Wii.

If MS leaves the console race this gen, Nintendo won't have serious competition. So they are free to do whatever they want.

Honestly Im not biased against wii, actually if I had some extra cash I would buy it. its still a great FUN just meant its not priority for hardcore gamers! :)

This is kind of out there but I dont think we will see a Wii sequel for a while. The system is not on par with the other 2 and is selling much better. One reason that companies release next gen systems is because technology allows them to release a system with more power. But the Wii is lets say using tech from the last gen with a twist. So why release another anytime soon. The tech they are using is only gonna get cheaper and the casual crowd will only flock to it more. I think we will see a whole new system run along side the Wii just like the gba and ds before we see a Wii sequel.GoldenElementXL

true but I didnt say the date or guessed when I just wanned to know what people think NINTENDO might do, be it in 5, 10 or 20 years! :)

I want them to have better graphics and go back to a gamecube-type controller.
