ND seems to like andtake on difficult programing challenges in each Uncharted installment.

1st was water.

2nd was snow.

3rd is ....

So what hurdle do you think they will challenge next.

Some mentioned sand, but that just seems too much like snow.

Maybe air and smoke/gas. (maybe set in a floating city)

I am curious of every-bodies ideas.

Floating city? Nah, that's be too much like BioShock: Infinite. Who knows, maybe they'll do a bit of desert setting.

Physics of gases (smoke, clouds, ect in a floating city).

Maybe its just high up at first (say mountain temple city) then starts to float. Trapping Drake.

1. Likely released before Infinite.

2. Infinite (and Bioshock in general) has a very scifi steam punk atmosphere.Uncharted has more or a magic and Indiana Jones atmosphere. So they could both have similar concept, but completely different atmospheres and moods about them.

Definitely water. Water in the original was cool but they didn't nail it. Underwater scenes would be epic, and there's a lot to do there. Underwater explosions, gunfights and loads of other stuff.

I had no problem with aiming at all in UC1 and UC2. I actually though it was pretty darned good. Not sure what the aiming problem is? Explain please.

Generic? That's about as good as shooting gets in tps. They all use the same method now adays ever since RE4.

You suspect wrong. Don't really play any games with lock on aiming, or would I even use it if it was an option. It's clunky, it doesn't feel refined. It just feels rushed and cheap.

Yeah, see I'm not a big fan of most PS3 exclusives and my favorite games this generation are multiplat try again. Funny you call me a fanboy but I bet you can't find many posts of me bashing the 360 on anything other then the ridiculous XBL Gold fees.

This is the first I'm hearing of Uncharted 2 having crapping shooting/aiming, I had no problem with it, didn't really hear about in reviews either.

That's because it doesn't, the controls are good. Pulling off headshots is easy as pie but if you look at his posting history you'll see how it's only bad for him lol.

I would like to see the Uncharted world be more explorable. But this may be hard as it is a very heavily scripted game.

What I don't want is for Uncharted to become a sandbox-like game.

I just hope that they don't change the game dramatically for the sake of changing it. What they have done so far has worked fantastically.

No reason to mess up a near perfect formula.

Desert setting - sand. Maybe Egypt. Although the game should start somewhere completely different, like the middle of Tokyo or Hong Kong.

I'd like some super puzzles. Like really hard ones.
