I predict a 6 month late port. In return, Namco will port the Ace Combat 6 and the new Tales game to the PS3.

Tekken 6 and then Versus.

And Kojima will port MGS4.

I'm not sure.

Sony's E3 was good, but my ps3 still feels the hurt from the FF13 announcement. That was the megaton, the rest of the exclusives are decent, with KZ2, MGS4, and LBP being the best.

Metal Gear Solid 4 ain't going anywhere! Too many key plot points in the game - and not just the little in-jokes - that are dependent on Playstation references and hardware. I mean, shoot - the Database doesn't even reference Portable Ops - a PSP game - correctly, as it doesn't have a correct article for Gene from that game. While I doubt that MGS4 will be coming to 360, I found part of your post to be irrelevent to the argument as to why MGS4 will not be on 360. The product placements of Sony and Apple products I can understand being something that holds it back. However the plot points is not a relevent issue. People can buy a PS2 and play the older games, many people have PS2. People can also buy PSPs. I don't think you meant to, but in your post it sounds like your saying you can only have played the previous Metal Gear games if you have a PS3 or that you can only buy a PS2 and a PSP if you have a PS3, which is clearly not the case, as I own a PS2, a PSP and a 360.

Who said Tekken 6 was exclusive? Talking directly with a Namco rep, he said they had not decided whether or not it was exclusive or not (this was back in Sept last year). I think you can chalk that up to another mulitiplat.

Overall though outside of 1st party titles there is almost no 3rd party exclusives worth worring about for Lems. FF13 was basically the only silver bullet and that was taken care of.

Multiple discs? Perhaps, but you have to understand, MGS4 is uncompressed, and uncompressed audio takes a **** load of space, the 360 uses compression, that will dramatically decrease MGS4's size on the disc.

I'm still not understanding how a 360 game going to the PC is a big deal. Let's look at two Xbox exclusive games. Halo 2, which was on the original Xbox, and Gears of War, which was on the Xbox360. Both of these games were ported to Windows Vista. Microsoft owns Windows Vista. It's not the same as if Gears were to come out for the PS3. This is no different than Sony porting a PSP game to the PS2.

I'm thinking MSG4 will be brought to the 360. Maybe they'll port the previous MSG titles as well in some sort of "classics" version so we can play the older versions on our Xbox as well.

Marvel Vs Capcom 2 ran of off Dreamcast hardware with it's Naomi board, but it still made it's way to PS2 and Xbox as well. Not saying Tekken 6 will come to 360, just pointing this out.

Yes, I understand that part, what I don't understand who gets hurt by this aside from fanboys? In these cases we've mentioned (Halo 2 and Gears going from 360 to Vista, and PSP games going to PS2) Microsoft and Sony make more money because of these games being on more than one of their systems. In these examples also, they are not losing money to a competitor, so what does it matter?

What does that have to do with anything? I didn't say it wasn't coming to the PS3, I said it was going to be a multiplat.

Anyone at this point thinks this is an exclusive still need a reality check. heck PS3 has yet to even get an Ace Combat from Namco.....while X360 has 6 exclusive. Who do you think they honestly favor at this point?
