Looking at not just your pictures, but also videos and what not - it's hard to draw conclusions without seeing the device actually running, as by the time I'm watching a video it's typically gone through lossy compression and a frame rate drop.
But in short, this is great all around on every platform. Definitely a big improvement, and the release of new consoles should put a bit more demand on PCs, so positive news all around I suppose.
Graphics aren't the be all and end all but I do find nice ones enjoyable.
i think people are underestimating the jump to next gen. As real next gen game engines like, Panta Rhei, CE3, Unreal 4, Luminous, ID Tech 6 etc start to show up we will see the real difference. Keep in mind that these games will be rendering in 1920x1080 for the most part, although later on in the generation that may scale that down in order to keep up with pc tech heavy multiplats. None of these games are fully exploiting the compute functions of the GPU and only the truely talented teams will find a way of maxing that out to do physics, ai, geometry, even sound. Lastly it may be a gimmick but the cloud does exist, as to what degree it can help the cpu we are not sure of. When Azure and Gaikei get fully up and going around 2015 it could make a difference.
