NFS Hot Pursuit is out, why is no one talking about it? :S

I just got the game on PC and its really good, although the handling could of done with some improvement

How comes people on SW haven't already uploaded screenshots of it running on different platforms and started arguing over miniscule details.

Is there just no hype for this game?!

Well NFS has lost alot of its Brand power of the last few years but my copy it flying to my country as we speak

I was thinking of getting it as it looks deadly and the demo was a good laugh.

Seen very little hype though, and where is the GS review? A load of other (very positive) reviews for it have been out ages.

I heard the graphics were not so good and it was just the same old stuff with a few things added in.

I don't know. It looks really good, though, but there isn't a review for it, yet, so I've been keeping to myself about my excitement for it and I haven't been able to try the demo. I'm sure it'll get plenty of exposure if it gets a higher score than GT5, though :lol:

no splitscreen? thats a let down..but yea im not going to pick it up until dec or jan..

i own it on wii , and played the 360 demo heres my take on both versions so far-plan on gettin the ps3 version due to lack of xbox gold,

wii is better at the arcady feel that the originals got but at the same time , it does not play like nfs hotpursuit 2 graphically, it has nitros graphics but a tad less cartoony ,

from the 360 demo i can gather that , it plays like hot pursuit gameplay wise but , i didnt see one cop in the race mode, could be that its a demo ,

but there was a be the cop part in the demo which does not play like hot pursuit 2 but like the wii version-you hit the car a certain amount of times, 3 or 4 for 360 3 for wii

to pull them over,

so i wont expect much if your a long time fan and looking for splitscreen on 360 ps3 versions,

its not as fun as hot pursuit 2 im sorry ,

ive played the demo of the 360 version and played the wii version/got it,

if your a fan of nitro or want split screen over all , wii version

360 and ps3 are actually a hit or miss situation

as they do not in any way play like nfs hotpursuit 2 as i thought it would have ,

especally be the cop mode,

that is lame i also note the cops dont yell out the windows like they did in the ps1 version i miss that ,

they messe up again on that exchange,

and when you send out of road block , it takes more longer then it did in hot pursuit for them to respond also the spikes you throw them your self unlike hot pursuit 2 where their placed well for you ,.,

that is frustrating right there, so dont expect a hot pursuit 2! and we all know how great that was the career mode is exactly like most wanted in the wii version you face a boss -im not sure if its different for 360 ps3 but the basic lay out is the same as mw for wii

and no free roam for wii , not much free roam for ps3 360 either, from what others arer sayin it s just to get the feel of the track and take photos

bottom line is i expected all 3 versions to be the same minus graphics and i was disapponted

wii has some advantages over the other 2 but its got cut backs

the 360 and ps3 also have cut backs,

so whether or not you agree with me, i still say i want a true need for speed hot pursuit 3 ,

not this this isnt hotpursuit 3 ,

cause 1 there is no free roam in hot pursuit 2 or 1 there shouldnt be now

they matched all 3 versions ,

they didnt now,

-sure the wii was not as powerful but they could have used an improved hot pursuit 2 engine for that one

and they should have kept split screen for ps3 360 at 10 more ugh were like getting ripped off

After playing Undercover, I wouldn't accept any NFS game as a gift.

Because it is a poor Burnout in NFS clothing? I'm still waiting for Porsche Unleashed II.

I am not a big racing game fan, but I loved the demo. It is not an immediate purchase for me, but it is definitely on my 'games to buy later' list.

The series went downhill for a bit and it isn't Gran Turismo or Forza, the 2 most overhyped racing series here.

And racing games don't get as much talk as shooters here.

I've pre-ordered it, but I'm in Europe so the release is due either tomorrow or Friday (depends on the store a bit). Can't wait, though!

i played it at my buddys house last night and we had a blast.

i have it in my gamefly Q and did not know about the onlne pass until i saw my buddy put the code in and i doubt i will get the code with a rental so i'm just going to play the campaign and send it back, bummer.

when we played the online it was pretty good even though i don't think i saw he cops win even once out of a bunch of games.

it's possible i will buy the pass but i doubt it.

it's not that it's so unreasonable for them to want the money i just think it's something i don't want to support.

That's a load of bs--two completely different games. These are the two racers I want. GT5 for sim. NFS for that mindless arcade feeling.

I just rented it, but it tries to be burnout. Doesn't even come close though, should have stuck with shift type racing with cops instead. And GT5 out next week or so.
