Let's assume for a moment that Kojima even cared enough to do this, which he has repeatedly confirmed that he does not. Who will even care anymore??? Dude, it's not going to happen. It's more than the hassle of porting a game that makes pretty full use of a blu ray disc for a system that doesn't have a hard drive by default... it's also the point of having to re-code portions of the game that make distinct Sony and Apple references. It's just not going to happen.

And by then the PS3 will have a slew of other games that won't be on the XBOX like Resistance 2 and Little Big Planet.

then MGS4 on the X360. why? many reasons. but lets start with the basics. MGS4 is on a dual-layered blu-ray disc. there's a lot of data in there. if it were to be ported, it'd either be on multiple discs, or severely watered down.. worse audio & visual quality, etc. also, MGS4 has sold more then enough copies to recoup on the development costs. there's no ''buh..buh.. it would be more financially feasible..!'' debate. with that being said, on a technical level, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the way MGS4 looks, plays, or sounds. there's no framerate drop, no game breaking glitches, no awkward camera.. & if there is some error that i haven't noticed, its probably so small & irrelevant that an update would fix it easily. if you've been following my posts, you'd notice that my only beef with the game would be it's lack of gameplay - if Kojima ever decided to make a Special Edition with added gameplay & features, the Sony fanbase has already proven that they'd more then happily cough up the money to buy it. (MGS2:S, MGS3:S.) however, its also important to note that MGS2:S sales on the Xbox were abysmal at best. now, on to NG2.. the game has many, many flaws, according to reviews. horrid camera, framerate dips, & an inconsistent difficulty. NG had these problems as well, but they were fixed on NGB, & even furthermore on the recent NGS. NGS however, was not something that Itagaki wanted, but now that Itagaki is out of the picture, it is highly likely that Team Ninja will create a better, actually playable version for both the X360 & the PS3 sometime next year. NG2 hasn't sold considerably well, & seeing as how NGS was pretty successful on the PS3, it would be wise to make a PS3 version as well.GUNpoint_
