NGP- Amazing graphics for a handeld. Touchscreen. And lots of new features to the psp. Uncharted on a handheld!+ other pretty good titles.

3DS- 3D without glasses. Great graphics. And lots of new features to the ds. Zelda ocarina of time on a handheld!+ other great titles.

Which one will you buy? And which one do you think will sell more?

I personally want the 3Ds and let me tell you why. Nintendo has always been a favorite too me, the ds was one of my favorite systems with a huge amount of games. Now a bunch of great games in 3d!

Both, and 3DS, but by a very slim margin.

3DS I will buy sometime down the road (probably end of the year), and NGP I am waiting for more info on and mainly to see if awesome games (not ports) are coming out for it. I am actually more interested in the NGP hardware, but right now the 3DS has better games. Paper Mario and Mario kart ftw.

I'll pick up the 3DS first, then possibly the NGP. (How many of these threads will there be?)

3DS. It's already payed for. Kind of pissed that Nintendo butchered launch by not having a killer app available.

Can't argue with Ocarina of Time, Paper Mario, Mario Kart, Metal Gear Solid 3, Starfox 64, and Resident Evil Revelations.

3DS reminds me of the Gameboy Advance. It has a lot of remakes, but they are the best of the best.

I'll buy both, and I'm super excited for both, but I doubt I'll buy either at launch. 3DS doesn't have many launch games that I really want to play (either ports of old games or inferior ports of console games). NGP has no confirmed launch titles, so I want to see what games will be available for launch before I decide to buy one at launch. Sell more? 3DS is the safe bet, but who knows? Maybe Sony will surprise us. I see both of them selling incredibly well (60+ million), but neither will surpass the Nintendo DS.

NGP. 3DS is cool technology that doesn't mean it'll translate into good games i think 3D on a handheld won't really enhance gameplay where as with the NGP with playstatious suite i think that really makes it's library versitile and mean a lot of games you wouldn't normally see on a PSP or DS you will. they way i see it the NGP is a mergers of iphone games and PSP games

At the moment, neither, although I'm much closer to buying NGP than 3DS. Still far too many unknowns for me to buy NGP though.

I've always had a good time with Nintendo handhelds so I'll be getting the 3DS. NGP remains to be seen, haven't had that great of a time with the PSP so can't say I trust Sony with dem handhelds yet.

I've got a blue 3DS preordered along with Lego Star Wars 3: THe Clone Wars. I don't know if I'll get an NGP at launch, but I'll probably buy one eventually.

Agreed. It's going to take more than PS3 ports to impress me. But to be honest, "Gravity Daze" does sort of interest me.

There's only one PS3 port (dungeon defenders). Besides that, it's the same situation as the 3DS (disregarding PS Suite).

I think a lot of us want more than IPs that are traditionally associated with PS3 such as Uncharted and Killzone. I would much rather play those games on the PS3 where they are fully optimized. Similarly, I moaned when I saw great games like God of War and Metal Gear Peace Walker going to PSP.

I want portable games to be different than console games which is one reason I enjoyed DS so much.

I will buy them both. 3DS will sell better by a wide margin (not that I think NGP will sell poorly). There's just no stopping the combination of Nintendogs, Mario Kart, Pokemon, and Super Mario Bros.

I would like to say I'll get a 3DS "no matter what", but we'll just see how funds work out for me.

But yah I was really disappointed in my PSP, so I'll be staying away from the NGP.

As i have a DS all it'll be is a graphical update with some new games (i really couldnt give a **** about 3d..)

The 3DS for me. I have ZERO interest in the NGP, it looks exactly like the PSP, ie cutting edge tech, poor portability, and console Sony games-but-not.

Both eventually. But I'll get the 3DS first.

I suspect the 3DS will do better. Not only is 3D a strong selling point, I think the NGP's size and complexity could work against it somewhat.

I'm not too keen with the NGP at the moment until more info come out.

Neither atm, but down the road probably the Ngp since it fixes everything I found annoying about the psp and the ds, minus not being a clamshell to protect the screen.

None atm.... But I'm more interested in the NGP, its more of the type of system I would buy. I just want to hear what type of games it will have to offer. I already own a PS3, so I'm not really interested in a PS3 on the go. But I'm sure the more unique games to the systemcapabilities will come out, and thats what I'm looking foward to.

I'm actually hoping a Kanji dictionary will be released for "NGP" so I can get rid of my DS entirely.

I'd love to own both at some point. At first I was definitely getting 3DS at launch, but now I've decided to wait at least until next year to decide on what I want.

I'd love to get both, but I'll most likely opt for a 3DS first and maybe a NGP down the road if I'm able to. However, I'll still be waiting on a price drop :P

neither, but it would be NGP for me if i'd have to choose. i don't like 3DS for the following reasons; dual screen, touchscreen and 3D. also NGP has dual analog sticks.

3DS has a solid library, though...

NGP, because I NEVER had a PSP. I like trying out something NEW. But I'm not jumping on the bandwagon just yet until I know the price and the games coming out for it.

As for 3DS, not really interested. I might upgrade to DSi or XL someday, though.

You might upgrade to DSi/XL but not 3DS? You know it's a completely new system right?

Maybe 3DS. No chance on the NGP. I don't understand why people want to play their PS3 games on a portable (as opposed to a new experience). The only thing it has going for it is the touch screen on the back, itll be interesting to see what developers do with it.
