This is great news, Not having many JPRGs was my biggest gripe with sony and PS3 last generation. So much for launch line up hype...PS4 is starting to reveal the true straight of it's line up one that has something for all gamers. This has me officially on the PS4 train. All that I require now is a true Atlus SMT title and i will be Bandaris pleased.

I guess, just seems stupid. If I don't like an entire genre I usually don't even go into thread to bash them. For example I don't go into RTS game threads just to bash the entire genre because I generally don't like or play RTS games.

I was expecting a new IP in collaboration with Gibli, not a rehash. Ni no Kuni wasn't even that good. The gameplay was like super archaic, boring and simple.

As for a new Tales I couldn't care less. The franchise died with Vesperia. The last decent Tales game.

Ni no Kuni was that good. Compared to anything else that came on the ps3 anyway, can you name a better JRPG on the ps3 last generation? (not counting demons or dark souls) if this is confirmed i can't wait.

If they come out soon, that'd be great for the JRPG genre. If Final Fantasy doesn't become the crap that XIII was and Kingdom Hearts deliver along with these two games early on in the gen, maybe JRPGs will have a chance of coming back to consoles.

Awesome stuff. Hopefully the Tales game is more like Vesperia than Xillia though. I thought Xillia was a less focused game and the lack of a world map was very questionable. The art style was also less crisp than Vesperia IMO. World Map + More focused story + Vesperia art style + Xillia combat + PS4 tech = BEST Tales ever.

Microsoft better step their game up. Sony is getting all the shooters and RPG.

I just started playing Ni No Kuni two days ago and am loving it so far. The artstyle is great. On my way to fight something called the guardian. Just more games for the PS4 that I will enjoy once I buy it.

Great news. Ni No Kuni was the first JRPG in years that I actually enjoyed. If it comes early enough in the consoles lifespan then it might spark a JRPG wildfire... About time we see a Breath of Fire sequel and a Final Fantasy that goes back to its roots and doesn't suck.

I really don't care for NNK2. Tales, on the other hand, I'm stocked. But that means us westerners will have to wait 2+ years after it's released to get it.
