[QUOTE="Willy105"][QUOTE="LiquidShnake"]I have more respect for dog sh!t then I do for Nintendo.charizard1605Then you hate videogames. Period. Yeah. You may not like what they do, but you simply cannot deny their contribution to the industry.
Yeah. Nintendo helped reinvigourate the games industry after the big crash because of a bad slew of bad games and cash ins.
They made some fairly distinctive and fun games to standout.
You have to give Nintendo due credit regardless if you are some hardcore fanboy for some other company.
A lot of gamers today played Nintendo game when they were kids regardless if they were "Casual" or not.
Happy birthday Big N.

because he is a hardcore fanboy.
Like that's anything to be proud of.
In case you misinterpreted my post wrong what I meant to say was that since Nintendo did innovate the videogame industry and regardless he said he lacks any form of respect for the single force that revitalized the videogame industry I fell under the impression that he dislikes innovation.
As the wheel is argurably a massive innovation of technology at the time, I said he disliked it due to the fact he criticized Nintendo unconstructively which was one of the most innovative videogame companies of all time.
I love Nintendo, ..have a lot of fond memories gaming on the NES, I was introduced to gaming on the NES, however its a bit sad that today's Nintendo does not offer much that attracts me to their system, :( seems like I'd only paly Mario games on the Wii and not much else,
There's loads of other good stuff there... you just have to... look for it.I love Nintendo, ..have a lot of fond memories gaming on the NES, I was introduced to gaming on the NES, however its a bit sad that today's Nintendo does not offer much that attracts me to their system, :( seems like I'd only paly Mario games on the Wii and not much else,

Cool. Make more good games for a console that has much potential than Wii Music.ZippySlappyDon't worry, with New Super Mario Bros Wii, Metroid Other M, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and The Legend of Zelda, I'm sure we'll be getting grea games soon enough ;)
They had the biggest impact on the industry, and they still do.
Honestly, if anything, it is big budget HDgames that are restricting industry growth and bringing it to it's knees.
I'll always have a soft spot for Ninty. After all, my first ever console was a SNES and my favourite series is the The Legend of Zelda.
If it wasn't for Nintendo I might not play videogames or atleast would've started about 4 years later.
Nintendo has been around for 120 years now and it doesn't seem like they will disappear anytime soon judging from their success. May you grace us with your presence for many, many, many more years, Nintendo.
Yeah, they should have started out making videogames before the advent of the computer. They weren't NINTENDO this whole time, they were "Nintendo Koppai" a handmade hanafuda cards company.
The Nintendo we know today is a much different company. :)
SolidTy

[QUOTE="Meowmixxvi"]nintendo is awesome! my childhood wouldnt be the same if it wasnt for them! :)charizard1605I know, and probably no other company in the industry today can claim that... Nice thing you have posted here (your original post on teh 120 turn for Nintendo). But this post im replying to, doesn't make sense. :S What about all the people who were born in...lets say...2000. They would be growing up with the PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360. I'm sure other people can claim that "my childhood wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for them" as well as other companies saying similar phrases. :P Just saying...
