Ninja Gaiden 2 is clearly superior due to the Buckets of blood?

NGS2 is almost here and I can't help but wonder why the haters think the game is fail due to the lack of blood, is it that much of a deal breaker? With so many improvement over NG2 is blood really something that should be emphasised over and over again??

Lets lok at the facts, what makes the 2 versions superior to each other...

NG2

1. Blood, blood and more blood.
2. ....

NGS2

1. More missions.
2. More weapons.
3. More bosses.
4. Better character models.
5. 4 playable character; Ryu, Momiji, Ayane & Rachael.
6. Expanded story.
7. Co-op missions.
8. Additional SIXAXIS features ;)

Now if this is the case of less equals more then I definitely give it to NG2 but in all fairness NGS2 is clearly the better choice. Please don't give me crap like NG2 is Itagaki's true vision, he was not the only one working on the game. Majority of the people who worked on NG2 have also worked on Sigma 2 and it's definitely the superior version.

Anyway I would just like ot share some new pics. The game is gonna satisfy the cravings of all action hungry gamers.

So my question. SIXAXIS right, which one; Ayane, Mimoji or Rachael? ;)

NGS 2 just seems to fail in that department, thus degrading the game as a whole, doesn't matter how much new content you got, but when you degrade the blood to T status, in a ninja gaiden game, we've got some problems.

Already own the game on 360 so there is no point in me buying this game again. Maybe further down the line I'll buy it when its dirt cheap. I can't justify $60 for an upgraded port when I already own the game. NGS2 should be superior to NG2 though. If its not then wow someone messed up big.

I never played with Mimoji before, so i'mdefinitely looking forward to sixaxing her ..that character the most. :D

Gee which one is better? The 1 year old game? or the same game with improvements that have been made since the original release?

I really hate how people are saying the lack of blood makes the game bad. Do people only play games to see blood? It's ridiculous. I hate when games are thought to be good just because of the gore being overdone. Take Prototype for example, tons of gore, but poor gameplay/controls, bad story, average-below average visuals. Any person I've talked to that has a good taste in games does not like that game. Its all about the gore.

NGS2 adding features/improvements in every aspect of the games seems to be ignored because there isn't as much blood. I read an article saying that all the gore and dismemberments in NG2 made the game buggy and not look as good. I'll take improved graphics and a steady frame rate over gore anyday

NG did have blood but it was definitely not over-done, due to head dismemberment the game had censorship issues but that's about it. Blood was never the selling point in the game and if some gamers do think this then clearly they are weird and think blood should be in everything to make it good, lol.

The first magazine print review for NGS2 was in the 80's and they said the new boss battle is basically crap and that the extra additions aren't much to get excited about.

Agree with you there buddy. I much prefer the sleek look of NGS2, Ninja's are all about swift and sleek movement not blood, gore and blood. I mean this isn't Gears and blood was never the main selling point of NG. Gears you can argue that one of the main selling points is the buckets of blood, and taking that out of the game would some-what hurt it's appeal but a game like NG the appeal is always gonna be the balls-out hack 'n slash action which Sigma 2 will deliver by the bucket loads.

Now I like Blood in my games as much as the next guy but Im fine with NGS2's stance on less blood because I know GOW3 will satisfy my need for blood :D

Well to be fair MGS4 did it first with Rose but am quite happy NGS2 is doing it too :D It is indeed the best use of SIXAXIS, screw the haters more games need to do this, lol

Shaking your controller around to bounce breasts is sickening. No, the series wasn't immature. The girls were a little on the prostitute-looking side, but it didn't involve the player jiggling female parts.
