That would be a ridiculous statement to make.
I remember not longer than only a few months ago, System Warriors were posting pictures of Sigma and NG:B side by side, claiming that Sigma's graphics were unimpressive as it looked just like an upgraded Ninja Gaiden Black.
Of course, in motion the two games looked significantly different, as evidenced by this comparison video:

But for Sigma bashers, it made little difference. So long as they could find high-resolution pictures of NG:B to compare against Sigma, they perpetuated the myth that the PS3's Ninja Gaiden game was barely an improvement over the Xbox versions.
Now that Ninja Gaiden 2 has been unveiled, it's self-evident that the game looks pretty much on par with Sigma. Of course, both games doubtlessly look better in motion, and NG2 probably looks better than Sigma due to enhanced details, effects, and animations. But if these improvements have been made, they are minor, not major ones.
Yet since the unveiling of NG2, none of those same folks who said that Sigma looks just like a high-res NG:B have come out and made the same criticism against NG2. My point is that cheap tactics to attack the opposition might make your favored console seem better in the short-term, but sometimes those tactics could come back to bite you when you least expect them to.
