Anyhoo it's really hard to choose, but I would say NG2 mainly because there's more 360's in NA in comparison to ps3s.

MGSIV hasn't been confirmed for June in NA.

I think MGSIV will sell more though both in NA and worldwide in its first month of release and overall.

You're betting the biggest 2008 PS3 game (after GT5) against a game whose predecessor, despite being probably the best action game ever made and being released in 3 versions, has been unable to break the platinum mark.

I'd advise you to do your research next time before making such boldly bizarre claims. MGS is a tried and true system-selling franchise. Ninja Gaiden is not.

You're kidding yourself if you think that's true. Honestly, a game with nearly three years of hype and is supposedly the last in the series vs a game that was just confirmed in September? MGS4 will be THE game to own when it's released, just like Gears was in Nov 06 and Halo last September. Not to mention, MGS2 was one of if not the best selling exlusive on the PS2 in its early life. Nevertheless, this is assuming MGS4 releases in June, so if it actually releases in April then yeah, NG2 will probably outsell it in June.

Its hard to tell since the situation of each game has changed since its previous installment, MGS3 had the benefit of having a very large userbase, now it will be appearing on the console with the lowest userbase, while Ninja Gaiden had little to no advertising and the smallest userbase, while ninja gaiden 2 has the benefit of a larger userbase and a new publisher that advertises more.jet052006

Indeed, and I think its insane blood content will attract a lot of attention.

Now before cows start bashing NG2 for being "gimmicky", I would like to point out that GoW owes a lot of its popularity to it's violence. I can't remember how many GoW ads I saw with all the blood splatter, claiming it was the "most brutal game in history". Also the blood is merely an extension a very innovative gameplay function.

Hopefully casuals will not be too put off when they repeatedly get their asses beat into oblivion :?

the problem is the 360 will never reach those numbers because it totally bombed in japan. last gen japan accounted for over one third of all the ps2 sales thats like over 40 million united and still going, the 360 hasn't even broken 1 million yet and it been more than 2 years :lol:
